Houston Eye Associates

I had an excellent experience at Houston Eye Associates from start to finish. Mitchell was extremely friendly at check in, Jennifer, the technician, was incredibly friendly, thorough, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire exam. She took the time to explain each step of the process and was very attentive. Dr. Terhune was professional, knowledgeable, and equally thorough. She answered all of my questions, took the time to explain my eye health clearly, and never made me feel rushed. The entire team at Houston Eye Associates was welcoming, the office was well organized, and the visit was efficient from check-in to check-out. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend Houston Eye Associates to anyone looking for exceptional eye care.

The wait time is consistently long often 45 minutes to an hour or more for follow-up appointments with the ophthalmologist. Staff does not provide an update stating provider is running late. Please be prepared, as being seen immediately is unlikely. Provider is thorough and caring.

I used Dr. Jenkins until he retired and was referred to Dr. Fish and she is great. Every visit my vision is corrected. She laser’s my cataracts and my vision is so much better. After several years your cataract replacement lenses get what I call dull and not so clear. After laser, my vision is noticeable restored. Plus I have prescription eye glasses for night driving and better distance vision. The combo is so close to perfect vision it is amazing. 🤩

Dr. Susan Fish performed my cataract surgery. She did the worst eye first, then the other eye two weeks later. After the second eye, I waited two weeks. I went in for an appointment. Both eyes were 20/20. Colors were brighter and very clear. I encountered no pain. I had good success and I am very glad I have the procedure.
