I have been going to Dr Tran for the last 6 or 7 years. He is an excellent doctor. However, his staff leaves a lot to be desired. Especially the front dest. They are the people that you first come in contact with and get greeted by them. Unfortunately, they care about their comfort and not the patient needs. I have been waiting to speak to the office manager, now for at least 45 minutes. So, as much as I like Dr Tran, I will no longer want to deal with the staff.

I wish I had better to say. Besides the insane wait time (I nearly fell asleep), the time with the doctor was less than 5 minutes long. I wasn’t able to ask any questions nor did she describe her findings. She stated notes for the other person to jot down, but never explained what they meant. She walked me to the front desk without ever asking if I had any questions. I had to try to ask her something at the front desk (no privacy). I do NOT recommend this place.
Medical Plaza 1 Suite 575 -Make sure you have plenty of extra time to wait, because the exams with each patient takes around 2-3hrs, and you need to wait twice, they have a secondary waiting room inside the office, the doctors are knowledgeable, they help me with Papilledema.
Dr. Lam is the best Retina specialist we've found in Houston. Highly recommend.
I was referred to Dr. Lam for vision loss. His exam and history taking was fast but thorough. His assistants were on the ball and they all worked well together. I appreciated that he took initiative to order an MRI for me and was thankful that his assistant took care of the scheduling. All in all it was a good experience, the office staff was friendly, and I trusted being in his care. Side note- when scheduling the appointment, make sure you block out two hours for your appointment, also make sure you either can drive after having your eyes dilated or have someone drive you.
