Re: ICON EYE CARE Superb physicians; shockingly inadequate administrative staff Prior to choosing ICON I had exams and interviewed a total of 4 cataract surgeons. I was immediately impressed with Dr Weiss. My reasons: His training, experience, demeanor, clarity of thought and his communication skills. He proved to be a superb surgeon and I'm thrilled with the results. Sadly, I came very close to cancelling this procedure based upon ICON's poor administration. For your consideration I am an attorney who ran an office that employed approximately 150 individuals. 50 were lawyers, the remainder were professional or semi-professionals. My conclusion It appears that ICON's administrative staff in general, are poorly trained and inadequately paid. I suspect both are based upon ICON not putting sufficient resources into this aspect of their business. As a result there was a constant lack of of effective communication and a constant flow of misinformation, confusion and trustration. HOWEVER My surgical experience was excellent. Dr Weiss did a great job! Additionally, my post surgical visit with Martin Seamus and my contact with a "Scheduler" named Sara was also excellent.

Dr. Weiss is THE BEST! He was very thorough (as usual) during my recent exam and took the time to explore a number of possibilities related to the reason for my visit. If you are looking for a friendly staff and great doctors, set up an account at an ICON clinic and go for it!

The PA who saw me first was very thorough in her interviewing me, was personable, and she gave me tests that I hadn’t had before. Dr. Martin has a great bedside manner, and very encouraging about treating my visual issues. I was very impressed with him and his staff.

The staff extremely knowledgeable and very helpful very professional I can't say enough good things about everybody there they've always been extremely helpful very knowledgeable and able to tell me whatever it is that I need to know and work with me on so many different levels it's great I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find true professionals in this field their office is located in 220 on the second floor the parking lot has multiple handicap spots plenty of parking all the way around also a second level parking in the back it has handicap entrances also elevators thank you ICON.

Very well organized front desk but also friendly. Associate with doctor welcomed me and also made me me feel very comfortable. Dr. Weiss also informed me during each step of my procedure as to what was happening. He encouraged me to breathe which helped me enormously. Great crew with a humane doctor.
