Avenue Vision

Wow!!!! What a beautiful office and extremely knowledgeable and experienced staff. They asked many questions about my lifestyle and highly recommended “computer glasses” to me. I had never heard of these. My career is spent staring at a computer screen. I wish I had known about these sooner! If you use a computer regularly- get a pair of computer glasses! You won’t regret this purchase.

My partner and I have been seeing Dr. Borden for three years and have appreciated his kind demeanor, helpful explanations and attention to detail at every visit. We never feel rushed or pushed into anything more than we truly need. And the rest of the staff makes you feel immediately at ease as well.

Such an adorable place in Golden. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Borden is wonderful with kids. He made an eye exam a pleasant experience for both my 4 and 6 year old. They were excited to pick out a trinket at the end. My daughter required 14 weeks of vision therapy. We worked with Kayla and Kristie who were both amazing. They provided a variety of engaging, age appropriate activities that were also fun!

Dr Borden has been great. However, I had serious integrity issues with his staff. It had been a year since my last visit and I signed nothing new regarding cost estimates or cost transparency. One of the assistants in the front took me back for tests, did not tell me the cost or what the test was, the proceeded to interpret the results and tell me my vision was worse than last year. I was never told this assistant’s title or if she has a scope that is allowed to compare test results from a prior year and share them with me. The test ended up being a retinal scan that was not covered by my insurance and I did not know until I went to check out, resulting in a surprise bill.

I have been going to Avenue Vision since I was in 4th grade, have always loved going there. The doctors have always been amazing but unfortunately, I had a negative experience with one the receptionists, Becky. She was impatient, cutting me off, and wouldn’t send me a copy of my medical records. Disappointed with the customer service from her.
