ICON Eyecare - Grand Junction (Wellington)

We were skeptical at first, for a number of reasons including difficulty getting eyedrops prescriptions sent to the VA. Our phone calls weren’t returned, and we live 90 miles away. We finally drove there and picked up the paperwork and drove it to the VA. After that major inconvenience, all went smoothly! We realize that some find Icons streamlined patient processing to make them feel like cattle, but we were impressed with the efficiency of helping so many patients in a day, with so few doctors!! In the end, the proof’s in the pudding. After 4 years of trying to complete Occuloplastic surgery and cataract surgery, once we arrived at Icon it went very smoothly and effectively. Dr Holtz and his staff are welcoming, amazingly busy and very good at what they do! Glad we found them!

I saw Dr. Holt for a follow-up visit after cataract surgery. He was very personable and caring. He explained things clearly and answered my questions. I'd feel very comfortable seeing him again.

Dr Holt listened to my questions patiently and answered respectfully. He gave honest advice and how to proceed with medications to treat my inflammation. I didn’t feel rushed or brushed off so he could get to his next patient. Thanks.

Dr Holt was my eye dooc on the 22d of July. He did, or to me anyhow, minor surgery on both eyes especially my right eye. We discussed my options and proceeded. I had numerous things growing on my bottom eye lids, so to me a good sized colony was thriving on my right but a much smaller on my left. Thankfully with Dr Holt's damn good vision and most importantly, a very steady hand he cleared both colonies/infections!! I called a couple of times outs and Dr Holt told me I was doing good. Long story short, I would trust Dr Holt to do anything required to help me see better. He is professional, courteous and most definitely knows all about the eye!! I evenly got him to laugh/chuckle a couple of times. Many thanks Dr Holt!!! I would rate him more than 5 stars if I had that option!!

Very knowledgeable and personable and was easy to talk to , he was really interested in my answers and asked very good questions. Built up trust very quickly. Will return.
