I had my eye exam on April 14 and paid $239 for my contacts and exam, expecting my contacts to be ordered that same day (which they said they were) i do have the premium VSP, that price was with $150 and the photo they made seem was mandatory. After nearly two weeks with no update, I had to call multiple times just to find out what was going on. No one could locate my order, there was no tracking available, and I was told the only person who might know wasn’t in the office. I never received a callback as promised. The next day (which is today April 28th), I was told the contacts were never received and would now be overnighted, which raises concerns about how orders are handled and tracked. For something medical that patients rely on daily, this level of disorganization is frustrating. I will say I appreciated the effort to overnight my contacts and the offer to do the PD measurement as a “courtesy,” and I did thank them for that on the call. However, given the overall experience, lack of communication, and inconvenience, I also made it clear I will not be returning as a customer. Also, when I initially went in for my exam, it was presented as if the eye photo was mandatory. I later found out from another customer that it is optional. This photo costs an additional $49–$59, and patients should be clearly informed that it is not required. They are money grabbers, i didnt listen to the comments ill just be going to Costco from now on. While the doctor was great, the overall experience with the office was disappointing. I will not be returning after I pick up my contact prescription. I would recommend improving communication, transparency, and order tracking to avoid situations like this.
