Was using this office for several years. I needed to be scheduled for cataract surgery on both eyes. VERY difficult to get through to office, get an appointment (on hold for a long time)or get medication refilled. Angie at the front desk is great!!! Smart, polite and professional! Only reason, I can post a positive! Dr.Emery Jaffe, is too busy to sit still, make eye contact or answer questions! I was never given opportunity to discuss cataract surgery, what to expect, types of lenses or costs. Once I said, I might have basic lenses placed, that insurance covers, he abruptly said, "good day", and left room! I had to return on my own to get any printed details and make an appointment for my preop testing. This Dr. wanted full tests done, including, CXR, labs and EKG! Ridiculous! Took 2 weeks to even get a call to schedule preop testing done after several calls! Only one person does scheduling, was away, and was told 2 weeks for appointment scheduling! Very poorly run, overbooked schedule! How could I trust this Dr. to do surgery on me, if I cannot even get an appointment or medication refilled?? I had both eyes operated on by Dr. Brent Bellotte, West Boca Eye Care! Best decision, I have made in a long time, and cheaper lens costs too! I had very high Myopia. Not cheap ($8000/per eye) but I have great vision, and only need readers now! RUN from this office! Very glad I got a second opinion!

I called the office to notify them that my mother would be running late for her appointment because her transportation service, Huber, did not pick her up on time. The person who answered the phone assured me that it would be fine. However, when my mother arrived, Angie was extremely rude and informed her that her appointment had been canceled and that she could not be seen. Unfortunately, this was not the first time Angie has been rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant. During a previous visit, because of my mother’s language barrier, she had me on speakerphone. I personally heard Angie’s tone and the way she spoke to my mother. At the time, I chose to let it go, but after this most recent experience, I feel compelled to speak up. After reading other reviews, it appears that patient satisfaction is not a priority for this office. There are multiple complaints regarding how the office is managed and concerns about the behavior of some staff members. Based on my family’s experiences and the reviews I have now read, I would not recommend this office. I only wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before scheduling appointments here.
I had a 8AM appointment with Dr. Parval. Arrived on time, paid my co-pay payments. Waited for my turn to take several eye tests step by step by different technicians and they dilated my pupils for those tests. The last test around 9:15AM , the technician told me now my last step was to see Dr. Parval. While seated the time was passing and no one was calling me to see the doctor while there was another doctor who was taking care of his patients but my Dr. Parval wasn't visible. Many other patients like me were starting to get tired with pupil dilated and no specialist. As we know, many of us Americans are able to complain one with another but not testicular or vaginal fortitude to speak and complain with the medical team. So I took upon myself, half blind by the dilated pupils, I stood up, went to the main desk, and kindly asked when my turn was coming. The nurse told me I was next. I replied " I do not see the doctor". She replied "Must be in the back, I go and check" and she left. After 20 minutes of laughing sounds on the back, she came back and told me," The doctor is performing an emergency surgery since 6AM in a Fort Lauderdale Broward Hospital on Federal Highway but will be here in the next 45 minutes." I replied "how he can be here in the next 45 minutes when by car it takes 45 minutes from Fort Laudardale to Delray Beach if he still performing the surgery?". She replied. " Well, we are not able to contact him, he is not returning our calls, so we are not sure when he will be back here". I replied this time aloud for the other patient to heat me "Even my mechanic will take care of my car better than you people take care of sick people. If you knew the doctor since 6AM is performing a surgery and you opened the office here at Delray Beach at 8AM, by 9AM I guess you knew the doctor is still in another hospital in another city and do not know when he will be back. Why you did not say to us patients of Dr. Parval the actual situation and ask us if we like to waith or make a new appointment before we had the pupils dilated?". To end the story I got back my co-pay and left with my pupils dilated, no doctor visit, and looking for a better medical office. They do not deserve not even a star. They work with their feet and not their brains. Thanks God this situation opened my eyes to look for a better eyes clinic because they are incompetent and some of them rude also. You like to still go there? Be my guest, it is your money and your health. Surely I stay away from there.
Extremely unprofessional and VERY irresponsible. Without any warning, they dilated my pupils and never informed me that I might not be able to drive safely afterward. I had another appointment to attend and they told me it would be okay if I drove myself that way, but driving afterward was extremely difficult due to severe glare and light sensitivity. It was so bad that I nearly crashed my vehicle. They provided NO protective eyewear and no warning to arrange for someone to drive me prior the appoinment. What makes this even worse is that I returned and specifically told them about this dangerous experience and suggested they warn patients in advance. Yet on my today's visit, nothing had changed. They didn't warm me again so I refused to let them perform the procedure and walked out of the appointment. When I raised the issue with Crystal, the "manager", she was rude, dismissive, and actually she blamed me for not knowing my pupils would be dilated. Patients should not have to guess what procedures will be performed. As I was leaving, the receptionist politely asked me what had happened. While I was explaining my concerns, Crystal came up behind me and aggressively tried told me to get out of the office I bet because other patients could hear the conversation. Her behavior was shocking, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. After being treated this way and seeing that my safety concerns were ignored I will definetely will scalate this concern. Many elderly patients visit this office, and this lack of communication could easily lead to a serious accident or injury, even DEATH Instead of addressing a legitimate patient safety concern, management seemed more interested in silencing complaints than protecting patients. Shame on them.
My daughter went through insurance and went to see Dr Adriana Saker The first day we went there they said they made a mistake she had to see Dr Saker so they brought my daughter in at 8:00 The next day The office staff was nice, but I was so appalled by the filthiness of this office. When I sat in the room with my daughter to get eye examination, there was hairballs human hairballs in the corner of the doors around The floor base of the room it looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. The chair for the guest to sit into was stuck behind the patient's chair you could barely move in and out of it. The place is very dark and looks like they haven't remodeled it in centuries or cleaned ...It was like going to a free clinic. My daughter had a stye and the doctor said that she could removed it, but had to wait to get approval from the insurance no problem, but she would be missing some of her eyelashes and bruising could last for weeks, etc., etc when leaving the office, my daughter my decided there's no way she's getting any work done here went to another doctor paid out-of-pocket no problem and had the procedural done. No problem with it whatsoever. If your office is that dirty filthy, I would be scared to death. Have any surgery there and apparently the owners do not care. Try to contact The.office manger Crystal before writing, this never heard back from her at the other place, we went to there was bruising for a day none of her eyelashes were removed . if the office and the staff or the owners do not care about the cleanliness of the office or up-to-date procedures, please don't get your eyes done here
