Overall everyone is friendly, professional, and seem to enjoy working together. Dr Hemmig is very knowledgeable , thoughtful and thorough! 10/10 stars!

My daughter and I have seen Dr Hemmig now 2 or 3 times and we are beyond happy. My 13 yr old daughter has a bit of anxiety at doctors and his office takes extra time to ensure she is happy and well cared for. Patrick, the optical department, knows his stuff! I have never been happy with my progressive glasses until now. After receiving my new glasses, they were never quite right so Patrick brought out a brand new shipment of frames and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Dr Hemmig and his entire staff. You will get top notch service with a local small town feeling.

Dr. Hemmig and staff were super patient with my 3 year old at her first eye exam. She was distracted easily and it took a lot to get her to focus during the exam but Dr. Hemmig pulled out every trick in his bag and made her feel comfortable and excited about being at the eye doctor. Highly recommend for anyone with littles looking for a great eye doctor experience.

Update: July 2025. Despite the review below, I continued using Dr. Hemmig and the optician. I've had nothing but good experiences. Sometimes the first impression is bad, but it is worth another shot. That was true in this case. I would recommend them. ----------------------- 3 weeks and still waiting for my reading glasses. I had an appointment on Jan 9, 2019. This was my first time with Dr. Hemmig and everything went fine with the appointment. I used the in-house optician to get a new pair of reading glasses. I'm still waiting. Supposedly the local place they use is having problems. I asked Patrick what he would do to make this right with a first time customer and the response was underwhelming. I will never use the optician there again and I'm having second thoughts about using Dr. Hemmig.

Absolutely love my glasses! The gentleman in the eyeglass area picked them out for me, and these are absolutely the best glasses that I have ever had. He also recommended blue thing for the lenses due to being on computers all the time, and I can definitely tell the difference. I really appreciate the professionalism the office had but also welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Hemmig also explained many things indepth for me that I wanted to know more about. Everyone was delightful. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you very much :)
