My experience with Palm Eye Care in Niceville was great. It’s been several years since I visited there and the doctor was very friendly. The gentleman that helped me with the purchase of my new glasses was very helpful and kind. Thank you

My appointment on December 10, 2025 started out well. The eye exam itself was great with a reasonable wait time, clean waiting area, and a very pleasant, thorough doctor. However, I was disappointed that retinal imaging was performed and charged even though I had signed that I did not want it (I wasn’t aware at the time since I hadn’t had it done before). The real issue began after ordering glasses that same day. I was told the lead time would be 1–2 weeks. Starting December 17, I repeatedly called and was consistently told my glasses had “shipped” and would arrive soon, with promises of a text notification. I received conflicting information each time I called or stopped in, and despite multiple requests, no one checked tracking or followed up with the lab. Instead, delays were repeatedly blamed on the holidays. After more than two weeks of unanswered calls, in-person visits, and changing explanations, I was finally told on December 31 that my glasses had not even been started due to a clerical error. This was extremely frustrating, especially since I had already paid over $200 out of pocket upfront and my insurance expired at the end of the year, leaving me unable to take my prescription elsewhere. The lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability was unacceptable, and this situation could have been resolved much earlier if someone had simply looked into it when I first raised concerns. As of January 2, 2026, I still do not have my glasses or a clear timeline.

Such a quality practice! Dr. Steigemeier was friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated well. Her staff was efficient and friendly, as well. Will, definitely, use, again.

Dr. Tom and the staff at Palm Eye Care are very professional and friendly. Dr. Tom does not try to sell you services or products he does not think you need. Palm Eye Care helped me adjust to multi focal contacts and a different brand of contacts. I am very happy with my experience with their services. They also have a beautiful showroom and office in Niceville - definitely worth the drive over Mid-Bay Bridge from Destin.

Always fast here. Not fast in a bad way either. I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and expected to wait but thwy got me in and seen right away. The eye doctor was friendly and fast to see me as well. He was patient with my unsure-ness of what looked more clear. They have tons of frames to choose from that can please even the pickiest of people,, quite like me. The staff were patient also with my picking of frames cause I can be very critical and picky when choosing glasses. The only thing that made me go from a 5 star to a 4 is that thwy do not do any mobile pay like samsung, google, or Apple pay or any other pay through a smart device. Card or cash only. All in all this is a great place that im pleased to say i would recommend to anyone looking for frames.
