Great experience, been going to for years. Used to not have insurance and his prices are very reasonable. Sent my whole family. My 84 year old mother in law had a great experience. My wife said he was so kind and patient with her.

I had to write a review because Dr. Shade saved me from being miserable with an eye infection/inflammation on a weeklong trip out-of-state. I walked in with no appointment and they took me back to see him immediately. Within 15 minutes I had a Rx in hand! My family has been seeing Dr. Shade for many years and both he and his staff are excellent. The ladies at the front desk always remember my name and any personal situation I may have discussed at my previous visits, making it feel like a small family practice. Dr. Shade is professional, precise and to the point without making you feel rushed like some doctors have a tendency to do. You can tell he really cares about you and your well-being. If you’re searching for a new, local eye doc…I highly recommend!
Dr Shade is the BEST eye fr around. I had a cornea abrasion and thought i was dying with eye pain and unable to see. I called them less than 5 minutes of them closing and they stayed open for me to come in! He is always very nice, extremely intelligent, and all around a wonderful man. The receptionist always has a beautiful smile one her face! She's always very welcoming and caring as well. I will NEVER go to any other eye dr in my life! They are so phenomenal. Outstanding they truly deserve more than 5 stars!!!
I would give 0 stars if I could, my wife had an appointment set for her and our daughter that had to get rescheduled due to our daughter being sick. The next appointment was a month later we show up and the receptionist never rescheduled the appointment which as it would anyone made my wife frustrated the receptionist refused to reschedule another appointment. Maybe y’all should go to a differ System besides keeping up with appointments in a book because obviously this doesn’t work for the receptionist you have!
