Very kind very sweet staff. They were very helpful with any and all questions I had. They also made my 3 year old very comfortable. Overall I believe they deserve 5 stars they let me know if I had any further questions I could call anytime. Nothing but good things to say here.

friendly people and place to go for your eye glasses and eye examination. The only thing I didn't like was I asked too pick out my glasses before dilating my eyes and the young women working the front desk and done the exam part of my eyes as of blowing air in my eyes and all, and she knew I wanted to do that. So I asked again and she said you should have already done that it's too late for that. should of already done it. I thought I'm knew here as a patient how would I know which ones my insurance would of covered. so I had to wait till the end to pick them out. I hope I picked out some pretty ones. But not sure if I will go back or not.
I went in for a routine eye exam. I did tell them I had wegeners auto immune disease but the Dr said this sometimes causes an eye inflammation but I did not have this. I was charges$155. and left with a prescription only. I am 79 yrs old and am on social security which allows one free eye exam yearly. When I went back to talk with them I was told they had filed it as a medical exam and not a routine exam. I am very disappointed with being charged $155. For an eye exam.
Recently visited the Horse Cave office. I was met personally by Dr. Wilson and received a professional exam. The office staff is friendly and courteous. Excellent place to receive eye care. I highly recommend Abney Amstutz Eye Center in Horse Cave, Kentucky.
The staff were very friendly. They took excellent care of me. The Dr was very thorough. I'd recommend this office to anyone.
