I highly recommend Dr. Justine Gonzalez and Vision Care Optometric Center to anyone looking for quality eye care. I'll definitely be returning for my future eye exams! If I was able to rate more the 5 stars ⭐️I definitely would! She was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my eye exam. I never felt rushed, and she answered all of my questions with patience and care.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this eye doctor! She truly takes the time to listen to her patients, answer every question, and make you feel comfortable and cared for. You never feel rushed or like just another patient—you genuinely feel like family. ❤️ The office has such a welcoming atmosphere, and they have an amazing variety of beautiful glasses to choose from, with styles for everyone. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and takes pride in providing excellent care. If you’re looking for an eye doctor who combines exceptional care with a personal, family-like experience, I highly recommend her! 👓✨

I just had the optometric and eye health exam with Dr. Gonzales. I can't comment on how well the prescription will allow me to 'see' until I get some experience with the new glasses I ordered. I was a patient of Dr. Tomlin before Dr. Gonzales took over the business (I might be wrong about that, but Dr. Tomlin has been absent the scene for some time now which leads me to believe that Dr. Gonzales is the 'grand fromage', the 'big cheese' now. I'll mention a few things and get back to this review when I've had some experience with the new prescriptions. Dr. Gonzales was VERY focused on giving me her very best. Dr. Tomlin chose well! I have dry eye syndrome and needed to blink often to get through the "1 or 2; 2 or 3" bit of the optometric exam. I had to ask for do-overs and Dr. Gonzales was MORE than patient with me. She coached me through the whole shebang so I would get the best prescription possible. Her very warm personality helped me relax and that helped her help me. Fast forward to the end of the testing and examining. She explained what had changed with my vision and eye health and what had not changed, I asked some questions that she answered very well. Summary: nothing was rushed; the focus was on quality and not throughput. I trust Dr. Gonzales to get me the best vision possible. Coming here for your optical and eye care needs would be a great decision. You'll immediately like Dr. Gonzales and you'll trust her to take the very best care of you. There is more good news. I have. big head (don't laugh, big brain, yes, but it has downsides). I need glasses that are 60 wide. Very hard to find decent frames, except right here. I found 4 frames (1 frame of Oakley sunglasses with the cool mirrored front, 3 frames from a single manufacturer, all different, but all fit). The person helping us was REALLY helpful. She figured out what would appeal to me and dug through various display cases and boxes stashed in cabinets and voilà, 4 frames in just a few minutes. You might be more discerning, but I was delighted that size 60 frames were right there. I was very pleased. She walked me through the various coatings available, what VSP pays for, etc. I can't wait to pick up my new very classy eyewear. My overall rating is 5. Dr. Gonzales is competent, focussed, professional, caring, empathetic. You'll like this place. It's not glizzy, but they get it done and get it done right. A solid 5 in my opinion. 2 weeks later: The new glasses are "in". Fitting was done carefully, patiently and competently. I am more than delighted with the prescription, the fitting, the frames and the whole experience. Sadly the lab that makes the lenses broke one of the frames. No problem, we received a loaner pair of glasses until a new pair arrives. I very much appreciate that Dr. Gonzales uses 'teaching moments' to help staff be their best selves.. It is in line with your philosophy. Still a solid 5!

I had an excellent experience at Vision Care today. The entire team was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The eye exam was thorough, and everything was explained clearly. I appreciated that all of my questions were answered, and I never felt rushed during my appointment. The office was clean, well organized, and the entire visit was efficient from check-in to check-out. The level of care and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Vision Care to anyone looking for high-quality, professional eye care.

Dr Gonzalez is awesome. I have been seeing her for my eyecare since she took over for Dr. Tomlin. Yesterday, I brought my disabled 94 year old mother in for an eye exam and the staff was very patient with her. Highly recommend this office.
