I arrived in time. Waited 45 minutes to get called back. Then a tech for a few minutes and on to another room where I waited another 15 minutes. Usually the office is timely. Hoping this isn’t a new trend. I really like my doctor

Everyone is so nice. I was post off from my left eye cataract surgery and pre-op for tomorrow's right eye cataract surgery. I was a little nervous. And they are absolutely fantastic. Very professional. Can't recommend them enough.
Dr. Butterworth is a fabulous doctor gave great advice and I enjoy visiting every year. His staff was outstanding optical. Staff was also outstanding. I talked to you once and they helped me choose the right pair of glasses. They deserve every bit of gratitude I can give them.
Everyone is very friendly and welcoming! The tech who brought me back to prepare for the visit was very thoughtful about my concerns. The doctor was very thorough and helpful when trying to get the correct prescription (Dr. Butterworth). The tech after my visit, Madison, was very helpful in picking out glasses. And the front desk staff during checking in and out were very friendly and fun! An all around pleasant experience.
I visited Katzan last Friday and was disappointed with the customer service experience. After checking in at the kiosk, I was instructed to go to the front desk to pay my $39 copay. As I waited patiently in line, the woman at the counter abruptly told me to have a seat because no one could help me. When I attempted to explain that the kiosk had directed me to the front desk, she spoke over me and did not allow me to finish my sentence. The medical technician who later took me to the back was pleasant, professional, and helpful. However, after my initial intake, I was placed in an exam room and waited approximately 40 minutes before being seen. During that time, no one checked in on me or provided any update regarding the delay. Delays happen, and I would have been understanding had someone simply communicated what to expect. The lack of communication and poor interaction at the front desk made for a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, the customer service did not meet the level I would expect from a healthcare provider. The level of customer care has deteriorated the past couple of years at that location. Sadly I won’t be going back.
