Although there were many patients, waiting time at each step of the process was very short. Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr Polk is always amazing, he makes you feel so comfortable and important.

I really feel sorry for Dr. Tamez and the ridiculous amount of patients that are left sitting for 2 hours or more because it sure seems that the scheduling books more than Dr. Tamez can see in such a short amount of time. I walked out of there twice because of the crazy waiting time. Tha last time I was there a man was sitting in the waiting room and heard me tell them at the desk that I would not stay more than 1 hour, since I walked out 2 weeks before. The man in the waiting room told me he had already been waiting over 2 hours, and he wasn't too happy and I told him he needed to find another place to go. They don't seem to realize that without happy patients they might be unemployed.

Attempted to make an appointment. When I mentioned that I did not have insurance and asked if it would be possible to arrange a payment plan, I was told that they don't arrange payment plans for people without insurance. I would have to pay in full at the time of the appointment. I guess they are more interested in their money than in patient care.

Retina Care is a very good place for you Retina problems. I would recommend them. Dr Tamez is very is to talk to and explains everything in detail. There is no long waits. The staff is easy to work with and makes you comfortable during the process.

I was impressed by the meticulous covid precautions taken upon my arrival. The office staff are always very friendly and welcoming. My eye care from Dr. Polk is thorough, factual and expert. I know I can trust him to share knowledge f the latest eye disease prevantive measures.
