I’ve struggled with vision problems for over a year, dealing with both nearsightedness and farsightedness, and most optometrists I’d seen just couldn’t figure out how to address both with one prescription. I’d resigned myself to carrying around two different pairs of progressive glasses depending on what I was doing.
Dr. Nguyen was the first one to tell me that wasn’t good enough. She spent over an hour with me, patiently working through trial and error until she landed on a contact lens prescription that actually addressed both issues. It made a real difference.
On top of that, I mentioned I hadn’t worn contacts in over a decade because my eyes are prone to dryness and irritation. She recommended daily contacts, and she was right — no more dry, itchy eyes.
If you’re dealing with a complicated prescription or have given up on contacts because of past discomfort, I can’t recommend Dr. Nguyen enough. She actually takes the time to solve the problem instead of just handing you a standard fix. Going to her office is also a lovely experience - it’s quite beautiful and calming, and her interpersonal skills with patients are excellent.
