Dr Karpik was extremely thorough with my eye exam and took the time to explain everything he was doing and to make sure I understood how to optimize my lifestyle to help with my eye health. The detailed imaging of my eyes and his explanation were extremely helpful for me in learning more about my eye care. The investment in technology to provide enhanced care was evident as I had not encountered some of the equipment used today in my previous eye exams with my last doctor. The staff was excellent as well, whether it was front desk, the technician who did my pre testing, or the opticians helping me pick out new frames and ensuring they fit my bowling ball sized head properly, they all made sure that I was well informed. The cutting edge technology and the careful explanation of my results have ensured that I will return to Kenai Vision Center.

Was a good experience. I really liked Stephanie who did my testing. She was very polite and professional, and a breath of fresh air. I was a little upset about a couple charges I wasn’t prepared for. Medicare patient’s be prepared, $75 for 1 test and then when I left it was another $100 for the 20% Medicare doesn’t pay. Wish I would’ve known before I went. The facility just needs to be more upfront with clients about the upfront costs is all.
I don't do well going to doctors of any type. My visit to Kenai Vision was FANTASTIC. From the moment I entered the building ,the young ladies at the front counter were very welcoming, and we're willing to help me fill out my initial paperwork due to my visual impairment. I waited all of maybe a minute or two before the optometric technician came out, introduced himself, and took me to the back to start the initial exam. He had the best personality, was extremely thorough, and really paid attention when I said that"I really need for someone to listen to me when I explain how my vision is". In no time at all ,I met with the optometrist, who in my opinion is hands down ,THE BEST Optometrist that I have EVER been to,and I am almost 60,so I have been to many over the years! He had the best personality, paid attention, was extremely thorough, and covered everything. Immediately after my exam, I was escorted back out to the front to pick out my new frames and a wonderful young lady introduced herself , let me pick out multiple frames that I liked, we sat down together, I chose my favorite of the frames, and she knew what she was doing when she was adjusting for my custom fit. From beginning, to end, the group of people I encountered ,in my opinion was a PERFECT fit as far as a team of staff members go. Was by far the most pleasant experience I have EVER HAD when it comes to medical visits of any sort. I look forward to going in again once my lenses are in. Thank you all so much for making what has always been a very unpleasant thing a VERY PLEASANT experience. I don't plan on going anywhere else for my vision needs. You all should be very proud of yourselves!!!
Great experience! Melanie at the front has such a welcoming smile; Elena is such a sweetheart and has such a calming presence while helping to prep me for the doctor; Dr. Charlton is so great at explaining the “why” behind my vision issues; and Rosy is so kind, encouraging, and patient while helping me with contacts and selecting eyewear. Everybody and their mama and her cousin’s neighbor should get their eyeballs checked at Kenai Vision Center!
I was welcomed with a very nice receptionist at the front desk. The facility was very nice and inviting. The doctors assistant (Hayley)did some tests and took me to my room, she showed me respect and a calmness that kept me comfortable. Then the doctor came in. He was very nice and was well informed about my complicated case. He addressed a dry eye issue with care and came up with a plan to address it.( Dr. Karpik) lastly the eye wear gentleman offered to show me frames and gave me my supplies. My overall visit was very positive, I will be back.
