I don’t know why but I have bad luck with optometrists. They either nickel & dime me, or are just extremely rude. I remember coming here a long time ago & had a good experience. I don’t know why I stopped coming here. The staff are all so friendly! Dr Tran is thorough & caring. They are easy to talk to if you’re on a budget. Very honest! I will be coming here with my son from now on.
I have been coming here for 10 years (ever since I moved to Long Beach). I love the service I get here and although I wish they had a lab on-site, I am always pleasantly surprised as to how quickly I receive my glasses. Even though I am informed that it will take 5-7 business days, they seem to call me in half that time to come retrieve my glasses. I love the service (doctor and staff are great), and their selection always offers me what I am looking for. I must admit I have gone to other places once or twice to look for a better deal, but that is at an end. Their prices are very competitive and the selection offers a good offering of frames. I have managed to save a bit of money ($10-$30 maybe) at other optometrist offices, but oh boy what a pain in the a** if I had to go back for something. Not at Nuvision, they are always happy to be of service whether you are buying a new pair of glasses or bringing back a prior pair for an adjustment.
Both of my daughters and I came here for a check up because we had blurred vision and all 3 of us walked out with glasses. I love this place and the Dr and Staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommended. All 3 of us are happy with this Dr.
My family and I are returning customers to this office. They have always been able to take us as walk-ins without an appointment (because I never think that far ahead!). My son loves the selection of frames and has now gotten his exams, regular prescription glasses, and prescription sunglasses here. My husband is a fan of the sunglass frames. I am always offered every discount possible and have been wonderfully surprised when they give me one I was not aware of before. My VSP insurance is accepted here and I've never had a problem with it. Friendly staff and doctor. My only disappointment is that there is no lab on-site so it takes a while for the order to be completed elsewhere and sent back to the store. I suppose this is common and not unique to this NuVision location. Recommend to Long Beach and Lakewood area people looking for an easy-going yet professional optometry office.
I have gone here many years. Myself, son and daughter are very pleased with the service and professionalism. They truly care for their patients!!
