I had a great experience at this eye clinic in Mesquite. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. The opticians were knowledgeable and helpful, making sure I understood my options and felt confident in my choices. I especially recommend Brianna for her outstanding communication skills and initiative. She greeted me right away with a positive attitude and made the whole visit run smoothly. It’s clear she genuinely cares about patients and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic, the Mesquite staff works together seamlessly to create a professional and friendly environment.

I took my 75-year-old mom to her pre-op cataract surgery counseling appointment at Key-Whitman Eye Center, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The counselor came across as rude, impatient, and seemed annoyed whenever my mom asked questions. Older patients deserve kindness, patience, and reassurance, especially before surgery. My mom is a very sweet person who smiles a lot, but the counselor never smiled back and gave blunt, short answers that made us feel uncomfortable. She also left out important information about the surgery and recovery. I had to step in and ask about the recovery process and other details that should have been explained during the appointment. By the time we left, we still had many unanswered questions and didn’t feel reassured or prepared for the procedure. A pre-op appointment should help patients feel informed and confident, not rushed or like they’re a burden for asking questions. I hope Key-Whitman provides additional training to ensure all patients—especially elderly ones—are treated with the compassion, patience, and respect they deserve.

This review is about the mean receptionist. She had a very unpleasant and standoffish demeanor from the start, and when I told her I had vision coverage through my employer, she said it was only medical and didn't even try to ask any clarifying questions, she just said “no you have to pay $300 dollars because you don't have insurance” and I said “can I call my insurance?” She said “no you have to pay it right now”. I didn’t get her name but she was missing some of her teeth and looked unkempt. I was nice to her but she was so rude. However I had a great experience with Dr. Lee, the eye technician was very sweet, she had cat earrings. Unfortunately I would never come here again unless Dr. Lee moves clinics. It sounds like they have a chronic issue with having dismissive and nasty staff that they refuse to fix.

Dr. Kate Lee, and the entire staff at Key-Whitman, are great. I was able to get an appointment quickly, was warmly greeted, and treated efficiently and professionally. I will return and highly recommend this practice.

I really enjoyed my office visit everyone here was so nice . Luis was very helpful with my visit he answered all my questions I had . I have been going to other places. But none of them have such a professional and very nice staff like Key Whitman. Everyone had a smile and really care about there patients to get what they need .Definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
