My daughter has a rare genetic condition, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Dr. Tawansy is very knowledgeable in that disease. He monitors her retina every 6 months to make sure it is functioning perfectly, he takes his time to explain everything to me and he even makes little conversation with my daughter, which makes her feel very comfortable during examination.
Been going to Dr Shaeffer for roughly 12 years now. Started with me and now my 2 daughters visit him as well. It’s always a very pleasant experience. Also, very happy to see Irene and Alejandra are at his new location… down the street from his last office :)
