Dr. Khalil was thorough, kind and efficient. He helped me understand everything going on with my vision, and took the time to show me charts and visuals of what is happening. The woman at the front desk was super helpful with helping me chose my first pair of glasses. I would go back.

Dr. Khalil was extremely thorough and really took his time to get it right! Most optometrists would not spend this much time in the eye exam reacting to my responses. I really appreciated it, especially since I have gotten back my glasses and the prescription is working great! Thanks Dr. Kahlil, will be coming back!
Dr. Khalil was very helpful, professional, and easy going. He was able to explain to me about my vision and gave me the best options for contacts and such. Also, he explained to my thoroughly and LASIK, which I am considering.
The doctor is nice, but business practice here is very subpar. I came here because they are in-network with VSP. I fully agree with supporting locally owned businesses, but I cannot do it in this instance. I would not be writing this review if they did not try to tell me that they were cheaper than some other places like Costco, and to prevent others from being told the same and believing it, here is my due diligence and experience. 1. Does not tell you the retina imaging is extra and before explaining what the machine does (looks very similar to glaucoma test machine), just goes ahead and does it. Charges you on the backend and is NOT covered by vision insurance. If you do come here, EXPLICITLY STATE that you do not want any extras not covered by insurance. I believe it is their duty to tell you before they do, (and maybe the doctor just forgot), but it doesn't feel good when they ring you up at the front desk with a bunch of extras you didn't want or need. 2. Consistently tries to explain how contacts and services here are cheaper than places like Costco. This is NOT true. Contacts for a 1 year supply were quoted here at $560 with some sort of "potential rebate" of UP TO $300. Got them at Costco for $180 for the same product 1year supply. This is cheaper than even if you were to get the potential rebate. 3. Contact lens exam here is $160. Because of insurance, it was knocked down to $120. For comparison, a three-year subscription with contact-lens exam+fitting and regular eyeglasses exam (2 per year) at America's Best Eyeglasses and Contacts is $99. This price is WITHOUT insurance. Again, they are nice people here, but I really get the feeling that they are trying to squeeze every penny out of me and claim every insurance benefit that I am covered by (and more). I appreciate that they aren't as pushy about me buying glasses there as some other eye DRs I've been to, but the numbers just don't add up here.
This was my first eye exam and I had a pretty horrible experience. The optometrist was alright, he didn't seem to want to interact with patient/customers much. He didn't shake hands and always ran off to the back whenever anyone walked through the front door. The exam went quickly and we did multiple different tests. I was able to see clearer with some lenses he held up to my eyes after trying out a few different ones. he asked if I wanted to take a picture of the back of my eyes for an extra fee, not covered by insurance. I said sure but I asked him if he was still going to dilate my eyes(which I later found out is covered and is the same thing as taking a picture), he said, no need cause we were taking a picture and it's better. He went through the results with me. He spoke low and a bit fast for me to follow but he answered any questions that I had before walking me out to his tech lady. The tech lady, then walked me to a wall of frames and had me try some on. She only had me try frames from one section of the wall and by the end of it, I was paying a $375 pair of glasses for a very low prescription. They didn't even asked me if I wanted to get my glasses there, the frames alone were $199... I complained to my partner when I got to my car and was told to go back in there and cancel the purchase cause I was getting ripped off (s/o used to be a optometry tech... Yay). So I went back in there and canceled, asked for a copy of my prescription (they didn't give me any paperwork of my result or prescription). The tech asked me why I was cancelling, she seemed annoyed and upset, started giving me attitude. After getting back to my car, I realized that by cancelling the whole purchase, she forgot to charge me the extra $25 for taking a pic of the back of my eyes and that my prescription was missing information. I went back in. She said not to worry about it and when I asked her for the Pupillary Distance of my prescription, she got angry and said she can't give it to me cause I'm not getting my glasses there and she trashed it already. I asked her again, telling her I'm just doing what I'm told cause I have no idea how these things work. She continued to explain, angrily, that "wherever you go to, to Walmart or whatever, they will measure it for you!" Jeez... Ok lady, you didn't need to yell. She could've explained to me that it was a liability thing like the tech from Costco did, and was nice about it. BTW, I ended up paying 1/3 of the price elsewhere...no wonder she was so mad, she lost commission. But still. That was no way to treat a customer...
