My first visit with Dr. Hargrove was amazing. From the moment I checked in until the completion of my exam, the entire staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Everyone made me feel comfortable and valued, and the level of care and attention I received exceeded my expectations. I was very pleased with the service. I was informed throughout my visit on all the procedures/ test that was done. The staff was very informative and courteous. Dr Singh was the absolute best. He made me so so comfortable. His reassurance of the surgery and the information was really great Thank You. I would recommend Kleiman / Evangelista to anyone needing eye surgery. I have 3 friends in my social network in need of cataract surgery at this time.
5 for the doctor, 1 for the office staff. Shady if not predatory billing practices. You know I can afford it but it's the principle of using customers insurance correctly and giving an accurate estimate for services. I will stress that accurate estimate. Dr wants me to do cataract surgery..now using it as second opinion. Business lost. I'm a great guy just a smart great guy. I booked this appointment at least a month ahead...more than enough time to have billing and insurance accurate and explained So I did receive a receipt for my copay. I've attached a photo of the "billing questions phone number". On that receipt. I called it and it was answered by some surgery center who claimed no affiliation to KE Eye center. So my advise..make sure your insurance is straight with the office well before your appointment or procedure.
My session with Dr. Singh was great. He discussed where I’m at with my cataract condition and what surgery needs to be performed to treat it and improve my vision. He’s very caring, professional and he listens to his patients. He’s an excellent Doctor. Also, everyone at Klein-Evangelista was wonderful and very helpful.
I arrived on time and was seen after waiting 25 minutes. I was first seen by a counselor (Kay?) that said I was not a lasik candidate but was a candidate for a double lens replacement and they happened to be having a special. I tried to ask questions bc I was told by my optometrist I was a lasik candidate. Kay told me I wasn’t really a candidate and she’d been doing this since she got out of college. Next I was actually seen by the doctor and had an exam and he explained that I would be a candidate for both procedures. Had I seen the Dr first, I’d likely be very excited about the lens replacement option. But instead I felt like it was more a transaction than providing care….I was told about a special and pricing before I had been seen by the DR? By the time 2 hours had passed, the Dr wanted to send me back to Kay to discuss pricing, but I had to be somewhere so he said she would call or email. I never heard from anyone. I’m going to seek another consult and look into the lens replacement surgery elsewhere. It sounds really great. Jasmine was wonderful and Dr. C was very helpful explaining my options. Unfortunately the counselor ruined my experience.
