Lakewood Vision Center serves patients in Houston and the surrounding part of Texas from its office at 21642 State Hwy 249. Both exams and glasses are handled here — exam rooms and an optical shop share the same address. Insurance accepted includes VSP, EyeMed, Aetna Vision and Cigna Vision (9 plans in total). Care is provided by Tam Tran, OD. The optical carries 36 frame brands. It is open 5 days a week, with evening hours on weekdays. You can walk in without an appointment. Very thorough and took the time to make sure I had the exact prescription I needed. (Also they can take a pic of your eyes instead of dilating them)
Dr. Tam Tran is excellent. And staff are great. Really focused on the patients. This was my first time. They make you feel comfortable and caring about for needs. I highly recommend Lakewood Vision. I know I'll definitely be back . My one year follow up with Dr.Tam Tran she is awesome. Explains everything and is very thorough. Staff is excellent. Frames selection is great. I'm rough on glasses so I pick the Oakley Frames and they hold up very well. Again I Highly Recommend Lakewood Vision !!!
Came here last week and was unbelievable! I just came here for a look at glasses and the lady that introduced her self as Karen was very unprofessional and didn't want to come help me while she was sitting on her phone! And the other lady was acting lazy also! Also the place was hot, and a cockroach was in the corner by the glasses! What type of place is this! I'll look somewhere else!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Tran is the best. She was very thorough and took time to answer all of my questions and concerns. And to top it all off, their prices are very fair. Highly recommend!
