Lappen Eye Care

From the moment I walked in at Lappen Eye Care, it was incredibly helpful, professional, and informative. I had concerns with my floaters and Dr Drexler explained everything in a very informative and assuring way. Front desk was incredibly helpful & when it came time to pick my glasses you could tell they knew a lot about eye care. I am happy to find such a good eye dr. Highly recommend!

The customer service isn’t nice The woman with curly blonde hair kept staying “unfortunately…” with no feeling. I would’ve preferred if they just said no without the fake sympathy. She didn’t even seem to want to try to solve any problem, but had an excuse for everything- of why she couldn’t do anything. Dr Ross Is my doctor and he moved to this practice so that’s why I came here but I don’t think I will stay much longer if the customer service continues to be this awful Edit: after my appointment a few days later I have to say the other people a the desk were really nice and helpful. Dr Ross is absolutely amazing at what he does- He cares about his patience and does a good thorough job. Would highly recommend him!

I made an appointment 2 and a half months ago for an exam and to order contacts. The appointment went fine. The place was clean and front desk was nice. The doctor was new. He was not friendly, but that was ok. I ordered my contacts and was told they would be in around 2 weeks. A month later, I called since they were still not in. I was told that they were special ordered and took some time. Still not in at the 2 month mark. Called every week and was told that the doctor had to look at the order. Finally, called today and was told that I fell though the cracks. My contacts were never ordered by the doctor. I was so upset. The lady asked if I still wanted them. I said no. I just wanted my money refunded, and my prescription to go elsewhere. She would only refund 30 dollars and not the other 100. She said that money was for an exam to get the contacts fitted correctly. I told her I never got the contacts. So in the end, I only received 30 dollars back and no contacts. My husband is going through chemo, and I honestly don't have the time to go somewhere else. My insurance was used on this appointment, so when I do have time, I will have to pay out of pocket. I am so disappointment in this place. If you are thinking of going here, I would reconsider. I do not know if my experience with the new doctor was how he treats every customer or if it truly was a mistake. I just know now I am out of money, and I still do not have contacts I desperately needed. My experience with this place was awful, and I will not return.

As always Dr. Ross is amazing at his work. The staff is absolutely amazing making me feel at ease in a new office and helped me so much filling out paperwork for registration and checking in with me periodically to address any questions or concerns I had.

Dr. Lappen is the best. He has helped me with several eye issues plus I’ve gone there for five years for my yearly exam. The staff is also very helpful.
