Very friendly and professional staff. Dr. Jaspinder Kalra did a very thorough and professional job. I'm very happy that she is my doctor. Also, Jacob and Abrielle helped me with the pre and post exam. They were both friendly and professional. All in all, the entire staff was engaged and made multi-tasking seem easy.

I walked into LensCrafters on a whim after the nose pad on my glasses broke, and I’m so glad I did. Abbie was incredibly helpful and repaired my glasses quickly and professionally. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and had me back on my way in no time. Thank you for saving my favorite pair of glasses! Highly recommend.

I stopped in LensCrafters on Van Nuys Blvd. next to Gelson’s today when one of the screws in my sunglasses came loose and the nose pad came off. Jacob helped to repair and advise on the repair and offered the option of changing the size of the nose pads. He even showed me that the previous tech had installed the nose pads upside down! I’m grateful to Jacob for repairing these sunglasses

I originally left this location a 5-star review, but after multiple visits and months of dealing with ongoing issues, I have completely changed my mind. I feel other customers deserve to know what happened. I purchased a Ray-Ban RB4340V frame (frame only), Made in Italy, that had a loose left hinge. When I returned to exchange the defective frame, the problems only got worse. Before my second visit, I called the store and spoke with the store manager. She told me she had ordered three replacement frames and that they were all Made in China, so I accepted that I would no longer have the option of receiving an Italian-made replacement. I drove to the store expecting a quick frame swap. Instead, the technician informed me that no replacement frame had actually been ordered. After the frame finally arrived, the technician spent a long time in the lab transferring my lenses into the new frame. When he returned, I immediately noticed the left side of the frame was warped. I also questioned why the replacement frame looked noticeably dull compared to my original. The store manager’s response was simply, “I don’t know, I didn’t make them.” It was dismissive and did not address my concerns. During that visit, my left progressive lens was also damaged. The technician did not acknowledge what happened or accept responsibility. He also denied overheating the frame, despite the damage occurring while my lenses were in their possession. That was the moment I seriously questioned the store’s accountability. Afterwards, I was told both the frame and lens would be replaced and the order would be expedited. Today, I returned to pick up the replacements hoping this ordeal was finally over. Instead, I found two visible scratches on the right side of the brand-new replacement frame. The manager attempted to buff them out without success. She then told me the scratches were due to Ray-Ban frames not being designed for thicker prescription lenses like mine. My prescription is approximately -5.50 and -5.75 with progressive lenses. That explanation does not make sense. The RB4340V is a prescription eyeglass frame, and my original lenses had already fit the frame without issue. Even more frustrating was the manager’s statement: “This...has been ongoing for a while, and this is the best we can do.” The way it was said made me feel as though I was being unreasonable for expecting a brand-new replacement frame to arrive without visible defects. Throughout this entire experience, I encountered repeated delays, poor communication, dismissive responses, shifting explanations, and a lack of accountability. At every step, I was expected to lower my expectations instead of receiving the quality and service I paid for. After all of this, I have completely lost confidence in this store’s management and how customer issues are handled. I will not return to this LensCrafters location, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

GREAT SERVICE at Lenscrafters in Sherman Oaks next to Gelsons Market! Thomas was very knowledgeable and infinitely patient in guiding me through the myriad options and choices you have to make when ordering eyeglasses, especially on a budget. It gets confusing and complicated real fast choosing frames, coatings, lens options you need for your prescription but Thomas answered all my questions and clearly explained everything in detail, including pros and cons of various features available and whether they would work for me or were optional. Costs add up real quick and I really wanted to stay within my eyeglasses insurance benefits and healthcare insurance allowances without too much out of pocket cost overages. I lucked out and caught one of the last days of a Buy One Pair Get 50% Off On A Second Pair sale. I was able to get my everyday prescription eyeglasses plus prescription sunglasses within the benefits allowance without paying anything additional out of pocket!!! Thomas and the store manager even stayed late after store closing time so we could finish my order up and submit it to the lab that night. Both pairs of eyeglasses were ready in 5 days as promised without waiting the full 5-10 days estimated maximum. I am very pleased with both pairs of my new eyeglasses!!!
