The customer service team (Hannah and Marilyn) was very friendly and helpful with the appointment. The eye appointment went great and I would recommend LensCrafters for your eye needs. Dr. Rodriguez is very caring and phenomenal. The whole environment was very easy going and pleasant.
Not the best experience. My wife and I both set appointments. We went through the paperwork and hoops to do the eye exam. That was fine. Afterwards when we went to select and purchase glasses the lady couldn’t confirm for certain if our insurance covered any expenses at all let alone what our actual costs would be. On top of that she tried to say that was our responsibility. How does that even make sense? We walked out and will go elsewhere. Nobody should ever should be put into a position to do a transaction without knowing the cost upfront. Thats basic sales and business 101!
I shop at the Schererville, Indiana location do to the Store Manager Marilyn G. Jeanine is a great stylist with a good sense what works for my lifestyle. She is well trained and always happy to help.
After paying for an eye exam, which conveniently omitted the pupillary distance for my progressives, I was told by the sales associate that the frames I wanted had been discontinued and she was unable to order them AFTER she told me they were available and I waited half an hour as she searched the system. She then told me she was unable to give me the measurements so I could order online directly from Oakley because the “system wouldn’t allow it”. A waste of my time and lost business for them on both fronts, as they own Oakley. Horrible experience and I won’t be going back.
