I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dianne Joseph at LensCrafters in Carolina Mall, Concord! She is consistently patient, kind, and genuinely cares about her customers. She always takes the time to answer my questions, never makes me feel rushed, and makes every visit a pleasant experience. There are other LensCrafters locations much closer to my home, but I gladly drive the extra distance because Dianne’s exceptional customer service is worth every mile. It’s rare to find someone who is so knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate while making you feel like a valued customer. If you’re looking for outstanding service, I highly recommend asking for Dianne Joseph. She is truly an asset to LensCrafters, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for consistently going above and beyond!
First time visiting this location, mainly because the exam office is attached directly inside the business. My initial experience was pleasant. After my exam, I spent some time looking at and trying on new frames. During the purchasing process, the customer service was friendly and very helpful throughout the entire experience. However, when I returned to pick up my glasses, there were complications with the lenses. I have worn glasses for more than 20 years, so I have a reasonable understanding of how frames, lenses, and prescriptions work and what to expect from a new pair of glasses. The glasses did not sit well, and my vision through the lenses did not feel correct or comfortable. I expressed my concerns to an employee, who then brought over the on-duty optometrist to adjust the frames in hopes of improving the fit and vision. Unfortunately, the adjustments did not resolve the issue. At that point, I was given two options: either "upgrade" the lenses by paying an additional $150+ for a higher index lens or receive a refund. What concerns me is that this upgrade option was never mentioned during the original purchase process, yet it was presented as the solution when I returned with a problem. The bigger issue was a comment made by the gentleman assisting me. While I do not remember his exact wording, he said something along the lines of, "We usually don't offer those services depending on how customers react when prices are discussed." My daughter and fiancée were present and heard the comment as well. The statement felt insulting and left me wondering whether assumptions were being made about my ability to afford the upgrade. As an Asian American customer, the remark came across as inappropriate and potentially discriminatory. In conclusion, I was able to purchase the same pair of glasses online from a third-party site with 1.74 index lenses for under $100. Because of this experience, I do not believe I will be returning to this location. I understand that one customer's opinion may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but I believe it is important to share my experience as a local Google reviewer. There's a lot more I could say, but this is enough for now. Don't even get me started on the experience my fiancé had. I'll definitely not be recommending this location to my employer, Chewy INC, and to my coworkers since it's listed as an EyeMed Plus+ service location for us.
Diane was wonderful!!!! With the store being very busy she made sure we were addressed and cared for. Not rushing us but also help coworkers. All with a pleasant attitude and smile. To the end of our visit. Thanks Diane!
I was nervous about visiting this location because I had only ever been to one eye doctor’s office since I started wearing glasses but my new Insurance forced me to find somewhere new. I’m so glad I went here. The exam at the Accuvision center that works with this location was great. Diane was fantastic while I tried to select the right glasses for me and in three days they were ready and she and Ron were great to deal with when I picked them up. I look forward to returning to this location in the future.
