Dr Hauser is a superb optometrist! He takes the time to accurately diagnose conditions and explain them to nonmedical people. He has years of experience and makes it a joy to visit once a year! Jackie and Natalie were most professional, kind and patient in taking measurements and helping with choosing frames! Wonderful experience!

I love my beautiful Tiffany glasses. Anika was so helpful picking out the perfect pair for me. I never wore glasses before and was overwhelmed by the many options available. LensCrafters did a wonderful job finding a fabulous style! 🤓

Shy was very easy going and receptive to any questions I had. She was also very patient with picking out my glasses for me (I almost tried out the whole store ngl lol). I truly appreciate her hospitality and she is definitely a star player for this store. I think she said in passing that she was new too. She is amazing and is only going to grow and be even better with her amazing customer service skills. Shout out to Shy!! She deserves a raise or a promotion or something I dunno

REVIEW EVERY LINE ITEM BEFORE YOU PAY — I was charged $165 for add-ons I never approved. I chose this LensCrafters at Vernon Hills specifically because of their good reviews and the expectation of a wider selection for kids. I brought my two children in for their first pairs of glasses. The salesperson rang up the frames and lenses at $542 for the two pairs. He never walked me through the itemized charges, and I assumed the total reflected the cost of the name-brand frames we picked out. After I left the store, I received the receipt by email and was able to review the charges line by line for the first time. That’s when I discovered that several premium add-ons had been included without my knowledge or consent: digital single vision lenses (a pricier upgrade over standard), blue light blocking, and Crizal Sapphire anti-reflective coating — their top-tier AR option. I never asked for any of these and was never asked if I wanted them. I had to call the store to dispute the charges and request a refund, which I did receive — $165 back. So nearly a third of what I originally paid was for extras I didn’t authorize. I’ve worn glasses for decades and have never experienced anything like this at any optical store. I have the salesperson’s name on file but am choosing not to share it here — I don’t know if this was one person’s approach or a store-wide practice. Either way, shoppers here should be aware of it. My advice: Before paying for anything, ask your salesperson to go through every charge with you and explain what each line item covers. Don’t assume the total is just frames and basic lenses.

The representative Angela was phenomenal! She was very patient and helpful. I was able to leave the store with frames that I love.
