This location in the Daytona Beach Mall was AWFUL!!! My husband and son went in there today 5/16/26 to purchase me some Meta glasses and they were instantly Racially Profiled by an associate (white lady with an updo & glasses) my husband didn't get her name unfortunately, but as soon as they walked in inquiring about the glasses she instant told them, that if they "were trying to steal them they are not programmed with technology" and lots of "people" were trying to steal them. So, my husband then told her, that was irrelevant to what he came for which was to purchase, she then excused herself to go and help a different customer and left a trainee to assist them, who didnt know any information about the glasses. She was very rude unprofessional and biased. My husband quickly called her out on this inappropriate behavior and she played dumb, but needless to say he took his MONEY to Best Buy and purchased my glasses!! I will never step foot back in that Lens Crafter and I will spread the word to other customers of different races of this experience . I will be reaching out to corporate to report this experience as well! Terrible!

I’m so grateful I went in to check on my two pairs of glasses lenses, frames, fit and transition activations on each pair. Patricia and the other very helpful staff person waited on me immediately and Tricia just did a Very Thorough job of needed corrections and facial fit on both pairs of glasses I had purchased in January. I am so completely pleased and satisfied. I would highly recommend the LensCrafters in the Volusia Mall. I certainly will go back there for any further eye glass needs.
From the time I was taken back by Ashley, “saw” the doctor and left with my glasses, it was the best glasses buying and prescription getting experience ever! Ashley was super knowledgeable and extremely friendly Chris helped me get my glasses, ran the insurance, and did the purchase. She definitely went above and beyond because I walked out of the store with glasses, freshly edged! I didn’t even know that was possible. I had just asked her how long the turnaround would be and she went and checked that they had my lenses and took them back and edged them herself on the spot! FEELS SO GOOD TO SEE!! Not to mention their selection of glasses is extensive and affordable. (Make sure to check for coupons through your insurance AND the LensCrafters website). 10/10 will 10000% recommend this place to everyone and will be back in a year for a fresh pair!
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at your LensCrafters location. I have been a loyal LensCrafters customer for my last three pairs of glasses, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. Over the course of three separate visits, my Louis Vuitton Low Clash sunglasses were inspected by four staff members and your lab technician. Based on those interactions, I was repeatedly told—including by a team lead—that my sunglasses could be fitted with prescription lenses. Relying on that information, I returned to the store multiple times, including leaving work during my lunch break and then returning again after work to complete the measurements and pay my remaining balance. When I arrived for my third visit, I was assisted by another optician who informed me that the store would not perform the work because they did not want to risk damaging the frames. I understand and respect that luxury frames can present additional challenges and that a business has the right to decline work if there is a genuine concern about liability. My frustration is not with that decision itself, but with the inconsistent information I received from your staff after three visits and multiple inspections of my frames, which resulted in unnecessary trips and wasted time. What I found most disappointing, however, was the manner in which I was treated. During our conversation, the optician made comments criticizing my choice of frames, stating that they were "ugly" and did not fit the shape of my face. Those remarks were unnecessary, unprofessional, and completely unrelated to whether the lenses could be installed. Customers should expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, even when a service cannot be provided. Had I been informed from the beginning that LensCrafters could not—or would not—work on my frames, I would have appreciated the honesty and simply taken them elsewhere. Instead, I relied on the information provided by multiple members of your staff, only to receive a completely different answer after investing additional time and effort. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. My goal is not to criticize your entire team, as several employees were courteous and genuinely tried to assist me. Rather, I hope this situation leads to better communication among staff and reinforces the importance of treating customers respectfully, regardless of the outcome of a transaction. Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I would appreciate a response regarding this experience.
Feel disappointed. Went in a got an eye exam for a new prescription. So I could order lens for my virtue vr glasses. While leaving the facility I was chased out side the store to come back inside. To order some lenses. I ordered new lens for my glasses frame that I owned for less then a year. Because they did need to be adjusted to my vision. The Store Market manager had taken my new prescription. When I got home I realized I was only handed back all my paperwork excluding the prescription that I went in for. Personally I feel this was done intentionally by the store marketing manager. And feel this was keep from me to prevent me from ordering the lenses I needed for my vr glasses. From another provider. The service was wonderful from all the other employees and the individual who did my eye exam. Store location 1700 w international speedway Daytona Florida. But removing the one thing I went in for from the paperwork “ prescription “ is poor business practice to keep and maintain customers. I will be making a trip to go back to the store to retrieve my prescription. And to be honest after I get my lens for the glasses I ordered. I will not go back to that location. Any place that dishonored and sneaky. I can’t trust to continue being their customer. These are the glasses I needed a prescription for and there not even able to provide them. So was it worth keeping my prescription from me
