I’ve been a repeat customer here and have spent a good amount of money over time, which is why this experience was especially frustrating. I made the trip from pretty far out to get new glasses, only to be told they couldn’t find my insurance information. They suggested I contact my insurance myself, which felt odd since I use it regularly without issues. I did exactly that, and my insurance confirmed I was fully covered. When I called back, the woman I spoke with was surprisingly rude and implied that I didn’t actually have the coverage I said I did. After going back and forth, she finally offered to recheck the information and discovered they had entered my birthday incorrectly. Once that was fixed, my insurance went through immediately. The whole situation was unnecessary and dragged out what should’ve been a simple process. When I came back in to actually order my glasses, the atmosphere felt awkward and unwelcoming. Not the kind of experience you expect when you’re spending a lot of money. Then when my glasses finally came in, I returned to pick them up and they were completely bent out of shape straight out of the case. One arm was way higher than the other, like something heavy had been sitting on them. They were adjusted and fixed on the spot, but I’ve never received brand new glasses in that condition before. At this price point, that shouldn’t happen. Overall, this experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning, not just to this location but to the brand in general. I noticed another shop across the way, Jins I think, with a better selection at lower prices and honestly wish I had gone there first.
James was so helpful when my partner broke his glasses. He took so much time to help us and was really knowledgeable. Thanks to him going above and beyond for us, my partner was able to purchase new glasses on the same day.
The staff at LensCrafters was very helpful in selection my Rx sunglasses. However, the new store design is problematic. Very bright lights that are uncomfortable to those of us with sensitive eyes, frames on high shelves that I cannot reach, and a check-out counter that is going to give back problems to the staff. I expect that 'corporate' never asked customers or staff what would work for them. A very cold, unwelcoming design.
5 Star Experience. I had 2 different eyeglass frames needing repairs, first frame the nose bridge fell off and the second frame had an annoying loose arm that I could never tighten on my own. I asked the associate Anthony if he was able to service both my eyeglass frames? He asked what was the issue and if he could see the frames. He then said sure I can help you with both and even offered to clean my lens which I declined. Anthony was friendly, professional and extremly helpful. He's the kind of associate that retains customers through excellent customer service which encouraged me to post this review. Thank you LensCrafters and Anthony!
