I had a great experience at Lincoln hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff were professional, kind, and caring. The doctors and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout my treatment. The care I received was excellent, and I truly appreciate the dedication and compassion shown by the entire medical team. Most Especially DR. AVIRAM MIZRACHI , I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality healthcare and compassionate service.

I walked in on Thursday to do blood work on 2A5 at Lincoln Hospital, which I learnt that as per new hospital policy, there's no blood work done on Thursdays. To my surprise they made an exception because to them I had not been given prior notice to the new changes and they rendered the best of service to me. So to all the wonderful staff at 2A5, the front desk staff, the PTCs and the nurses, unfortunately I am not too good with names. The only nurse I know by name is Babatunde, and all the rest of the staff who were on shift on Thursday July 16, 2026 I say a big thank you to you all. I really appreciate everything and I hope all patients can say same about you. Keep up the good work. Emelia Darko-Mensah.

The time and care taken by the staff of Lincoln Health and Hospital was tremendous in saving my life. The vascular doctors and their teammates the nurses, dietary staff and even environmental all assisted with my care and allowed for me to keep going to reach that finish line. God is with me I’m in recuperation and moving forward, and will always be grateful. Thank you!

Im 12 weeks pregnant and came to the ER with visible blood in my urine, flank pain, abdominal pain, and nausea. Despite these symptoms, I waited nearly five hours without being seen by a provider. During that time, I had to ask for a urine specimen cup because I was actively passing blood. And wanted a sample to give the doctor. As a pregnant patient, I was becoming dehydrated and needed something to drink, so I ultimately had to leave the waiting room. After waiting so long without being evaluated, I decided to leave because I did not want to continue becoming sicker. When I later reviewed my medical record, I saw that my chief complaint was documented only as "abdominal pain." So I definitely was not charted right ! It did not mention that I was pregnant or that I had visible blood in my urine, which was my primary concern. I believe this inaccurate documentation may have affected how urgently my condition was prioritized. I am concerned that my symptoms and pregnancy were not properly documented or appropriately prioritized. I hope this complaint leads to improvements in triage and timely care for pregnant patients with potentially serious symptoms. Also even if I’m 12 weeks pregnant and not 20 weeks to be seen in labor in delivery a baby is still a baby.

This was the worst day of my life. I had one of the most traumatic and unacceptable experiences I have ever had at a hospital. I genuinely felt that my life was put at risk due to discrimination, and I believe I was neglected because of the color of my skin. Thankfully, I made the decision to leave and received proper medical care at another facility. If you are African American or Hispanic, I strongly urge you to be extremely cautious about seeking care here. I did not feel safe, respected, or properly treated at any point during my visit. During my time at this hospital, I was also threatened and verbally harassed by a police officer inside the facility. The officer acted in a completely unethical, abusive, and unprofessional manner. He used profanity, made discriminatory remarks, and attempted to provoke a confrontation instead of de-escalating the situation. His behavior was intimidating, hostile, and entirely inappropriate for anyone wearing an NYPD uniform. I was unable to obtain his badge number, although I did manage to take a photo of him. Both hospital staff and the officer told me I was not allowed to record, claiming it was against hospital policy. In addition, an IV was placed incorrectly in my arm, causing significant pain and bleeding. The plastic tip was improperly left inside my skin. I was not allowed to take photos or videos of the injury. When I attempted to leave the hospital, I was told I could not do so until the IV was removed. I became extremely distressed and felt trapped, to the point where I threatened to remove it myself. This entire experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency. The conduct displayed by both hospital staff and the police officer shows a serious disregard for patient safety, NYPD ethics, and public trust. Behavior like this has no place in a hospital or in law enforcement. Officers who abuse their authority and harass civilians, especially vulnerable patients, should be thoroughly investigated and removed from duty immediately. No one should ever be treated this way while seeking medical care.
