The staff has been extremely helpful with a series of problems, finding ways to save money in the process, and the frames have a more style than the usual offering. I receive compliments all the time for mine. While not a discount store, this place provides good value for money and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We hadn’t been to an eye doctor in years, so my son and I weren’t quite sure what to expect — but it turned out to be a great experience. The staff was genuinely welcoming to everyone who came through the door. One team member brought a fun, open energy that made us feel instantly at ease and seen, while another kept things moving with efficiency and warmth. I appreciated both styles — it felt like a place where people enjoy working together. The bright sun streaming into the front room (and the resident pooch!) made it feel less like an appointment and more like a lovely pause in the day. The eye doctor was thorough, attentive, and impressively efficient. So glad to have found this longtime local business — we’ll definitely be back.
My work sunglasses lost a screw which was causing the lens to pop out. I came here prepared to spend at least a few bucks for the repair but they were kind enough to replace the screw for free. Everyone was very friendly (including the dogs) and I would certainly come back here in the future.
Madison optical center was by far the best ophthalmology center I’ve been to! Not only was I greeted by friendly faces, they also had super cute puppies running around (which added to the experience and atmosphere). After being checked in, I was told to wait and was given a cup of ice water. I’ve never gotten ice water at an appointment. I didn’t have to wait long before they zoomed me back to test the usual eye pressure, looking at the back of my eye etc. I thought it was super cool that they also tested depth perception, peripheral vision and color blindness. The doctor was timely and informative. And after, when I was picking out glasses, they made sure to make it a fun experience helping me choose the best fit for me. I’d choose this place again and again. Not only that it was well priced! They go above and beyond ❤️😍
My experience at Madison Optical Center turned out to be really bad: - they have dogs running in the store (not professional), one of them pooped in front of me, that was absolutely disgusting. - I needed new lenses on my glasses, and had come couple weeks earlier to get an estimate of how much this would cost. Of course, when we actually generated the quote the day of, turned out to be almost twice as expensive. So I nicely asked them to print my prescription, and the only thing they said, bitterly: "If you go somewhere else, you know that your insurance copay will be the same everywhere, so you won't get a better price somewhere else"... well, I clearly did. Going to Warby Parker was SO MUCH BETTER. - The eye doctor was good - the people working there were very unfriendly
