I was pretty disappointed with the facility, mainly the lack of communication between the different care givers and the patient/patient families. Especially when you consider this is where the critical patients of northern Wisconsin get sent to as their only hope. I know the healthcare system in America has been crumbling for years but I think we can do better. And they need to answer the call lights in a timely fashion considering I seen several nurses/cnas at the desk for over an hour while my loved one was waiting to lay back down, they just shut it off and forgot about her....smdh

I had to go to Marshfield because I fell into a period of drinking, pretty much, way too much. For a bit when I just moved up here, I was living a bit reckless....... I had to go to Urgent Care because I over did too much one night. I used the excuse of " I am just celebrating my new move". That was stupid! They took me in and treated me like a professional adult that I am. That entire team is second to none! I just want to thank that entire staff!!!!! You all are the best! You helped me and I will never forget it!

I'm planning a left knee replacement and wanted to get another consultation/evaluation to help determine where to have this done. I filled out MC's online appt request form and received an immediate email back that I would be contacted within two business days. Finally after four business days I called the number listed on the email which then began a time consuming series of long holds and transfers to other MC locations. Finally, the SP clinic couldn't even transfer me back to the Marshfield site because no one would pick up there. I decided against the possibility of knee replacement at MC because they can't even manage and respond to their own online appt request process, and even their ability to efficiently handle incoming calls to make an appt is quite un- impressive. If MC can't even adequately manage their own online appt request process and phone calls, then I'm sure not going to trust them with a surgical procedure.

This is the worst hospital ive ever been to the nurses don't respond to calls patients needs are not met i couldn't believe how horrible it was ive been in hospitals myself and I couldn't wait to get my Inlaws out of there. The lack of proper doctors and proper treatment is deplorable. The need to find out the cause of someone's major pain and inability to move just really floored me and I couldn't believe how heartless the nursing care is. This is not a hospital id ever trust to treat me for anything. There were some wonderful caseworkers and a wonderful special care nurse Kristy that helped us so much but the other than that I would never trust thst hospital with my loved ones again

The nurses are absolutely wonderful through out the clinic . It's some of the Doctors ! My primary retired and getting another Doctor to sign your prescriptions when your waiting to reestablish is worse than pulling teeth. Five days and I'm still waiting , I've called and messaged! I'm seriously considering Aspirus .
