On October 16th I finally had my eyes examined again. It had been a while but that was my fault because notices were sent by Dr. Brown's office. I have been going g here for several years and never had one negative issue. My purpose for this review isn't necessarily to tell you how good the service and treatment was because there are plenty of them telling you that. During the exam Dr. Brown was going over the images of my eyes. He explained something was showing up that he was concerned about and ask when my last colonoscopy was done. My thought was what does that have to do with my eyes but as it turns out there were some spots they call "bear tracks" that sometimes (repeat "sometimes") can be signs of colon cancer but not always. He said don't get too worried because they could also just be like a freckel and no problem at all. Just happened I had an appointment with a surgeon the following week to discuss that proceedure but wasn't sure I was going through with it. Besides, I was 67 years old, never had one, why start now? Dr. Brown, very concerned, urged me to keep that appointment. As it turned out there was no cancer detected but I thought what had there been and what would have happened if Dr. Brown hadn't been so concerned? With all said here, I'm thankful for Dr. Brown's knowledge and concern not only for my eyes but my overall health.
