It’s with great pleasure that I share my recent experience with Dr. Mehrak Marzban, an ophthalmologist at Maryland Eyecare Center, located at 831 University Blvd E, Suite 11, Silver Spring, MD. During my routine annual eye exam, Dr. Marzban took the time to conduct a thorough evaluation while patiently and professionally answering all of my questions. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring I fully understood every aspect of my eye health was truly commendable. The staff at the center were equally impressive, warm, welcoming, and respectful to every patient who walked through the door. I was greeted with kindness and treated with courtesy throughout my entire visit. I highly recommend Maryland Eyecare Center for all your eye care needs. They have certainly earned a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars!

Actual experience with the appointment was fine, staff were excellent. My frustration lies with how insurance is handled. I have vision insurance and my health insurance also has some vision coverage. I used the locator feature with my vision insurance to find this office and they were listed even as a premier provider where benefits stretch further. Maryland Eye Care Center's website says they accept both insurances. When I checked in I was told the person I was seeing only accepted one of the insurances, the vision coverage under my health insurance which happens to have the much higher copay. I needed to have asked for a specific position/person in order to be able to use my vision insurance. It did not matter that the vision insurance was on my file. This is extremely frustrating and I don't appreciate the rug pull. If your website says you accept a particular insurance, I feel that I have a reasonable expectation that it won't be denied at check-in.

After four very uncomfortable months and many visits to other offices Dr. Montgomery was able to properly identify my issue and offer immediate relief in about fifteen minutes. So immediate I actually texted my boyfriend I've never felt better that quickly before. Great staff and bedside manner, highly recommend!

Happy with my visit. The appointment was scheduled the same day and in 1 h was seen at the office. All staff was courteous, polite, welcoming, professional and efficient. Dr. Banuwal conducted thorough exam and address my issue with recommendations on the following actions. I would definitely come again.

What A Great Team Dr. Marzban - Thank You! Hi everyone, our sister, M. has CP and Bells. In life she has known challenge. She is an overcomer, accomplished athletically, academically, and in career. But now, retired, Dementia is her new challenge. Recently, M. needed her prescription updated. The tech, Kemberly, was attuned to M., adaptively engaging her during the evaluation... amazing. Kemberly's care-giving skillset was invaluable to M., allowing her to be relaxed and comfortable. YEA! Dr. Marzban Thank You for your years of service to M. We and she look forward to the next visit.
