The unfortunate fact is, they are completely overbooked every day. The doctors are great, i understand why people want to go, but when it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 hours waiting to be seen, something is wrong. At least be honest and say wait times are longer than expected.

I have entrusted my eye care to these excellent physicians and previously to the father/grandfather for a long time now. Granted, they are busy doctors and it’s necessary to have patience while waiting your turn to be seen during the comprehensive exam. Well worth it though! Highly recommend them.
Dr. Matthews did not listen to any of my concerns about tbe redness in my eye that I had for months. She was referred to me by emergency doctors and I wish I had waited until I had seen my family doctor. I waited for an HOUR before she saw me and then she said I had dry eye, just looking at my eyes 1 time and prescribed the same medication the emergency did. I found out today when I saw a real doctor, that I do not have dry eye. If Dr. Matthews had taken the time with me, maybe she would have found that out instead of rushing me out of the door! I will never go back or ever recommend her!
I waited over an hour while patients came in, got treated, and left the office. Patients with appointments a half an hour after my appointment, we treated as I sat and waited. After I questioned the staff, I was taken into an exam room. Again, I waited for treatment about 10 more minutes. I believe I’d still be sitting there. I got no vision test. Just drops and that exam. I would never go back
They are disrespectful to the family members of a deceased patient. They have sent bills every month for two years. The family returns the mail, but Matthews Eye keeps sending a bill every month. I hope they receive this kind of treatment when their family member passes away. It's not the way you should treat a former patient's family.
