I waited an hour & 15 mins before walking out, never even saw the Dr. If the front desk staff would have explained what was going on, I would have rescheduled. When I told the lady at the front I was leaving, she asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told her no, then mentioned how long I waited, she then tells me that when there are medical appointments it takes longer. I told her that they should schedule accordingly. I just told her I had to go because I was so disgusted with the lack of concern for my time. No apologies or anything, it was more like oh well! It must happen a lot. I think both Dr.’s are great, their reception people, at least the ones there today, need training on customer service. The lady that checked me in, looked over at me after 20mins and asked if I had been helped. There were only 2 other people in the waiting area and they had just come in. I am so disappointed!

I have been going to McClinto high for several years I have insurance with St Joseph hospital. Never had any problems till this year of course I pay as I go I pay my premiums the insurance tells them how much that I need to pay for whatever I get additives and with the additives I have to pay various amounts co-payment and I do before I ever get my my glasses or whatever now they are billing me and tell me that it didn't cover it well they're the ones that looks it up they're the ones that are told by the company what they will cover and what any other charges would be and how much the co-payment or whatever that you have to pay You do not get the glasses or the services until you pay the money so I don't know what's happening with them I don't know what they're going broke or whatever and they're trying to pull money from people but I know one thing I won't be going back to see them anymore and I advise everybody else to do the same, find you another provider.
The last time I was there was not a fair way to judge the performance becaws the internet went down and everyone was Leary of snowy / icy roads.
This eye care clinic provides best treatment. All staff members are very cooperative and Dr Karl McClanahan is very humble, kind, professional and knowledgeable. He takes care of his patients throughly and spends enough time to take care of patients.
Two of the front office staff are rude and really need training. They need to learn how to talk in a friendly manner to new patients. One front office girl was nice and tried to help. Unfortunately, the front office staff do not want to be bothered when you walk in the door and they act like they don't know what they're doing when you ask them questions. The eye doctor gets paid very well for services. Customers do not want to walk in there and feel like they are not wanted! Be sure to bring ID and insurance card. The front desk staff will turn you away if you do not have it.This is ridiculous! The doctor needs to address staff behavior.
