My experience was great!!! I went in for a gallbladder attack and every other hospital I went to told me I didn’t need surgery and just gave me ibuprofen. At medical city Lewisville it was a completely different experience in the best way. They gave me a room in the mother-baby unit (even though I’m not pregnant lol) and the room and nurses were amazing!!! Checked on me and helped with whatever it was I needed, and got surgery the same day I was there. The anesthesiologist and woman who worked in the ct room were just as great. EVERYONE was amazing. Oliva, Chloe and Amanda were so nice and I’m definitely making medical city Lewisville my main choice now. Thank you all for the amazing service.❤️❤️

I will have to say that this hospital has stepped up since the early 90s. I was very impressed yesterday by the care that my daughter received she went in for a colonoscopy from the time we walked through the door at approximately around 6:45 AM till we left at approximately around 9:30 AM. Everyone was wonderful and caring. They have really stepped up the nurses and the doctors and even the anesthesiologist doctor were all very respectable and made you feel like you were one of the family that is definitely the way you want to feel when you go to a hospital honestly, I can say no one really likes the idea of going to a hospital unless you’re gonna have a baby. Thank you for the great service we received on 7/15/2026. Big thanks for being very professional Dr. Shah, Dr. Music, Nurses if your in the need for a colonoscopy be sure to reach out to Dr. Shah in Flower Mound Tx he is a very caring and professional Doctor and takes time to explain what’s going on about a love one or yourself. We were recently blessed with a baby boy, and the care and service provided by the entire staff at Medical City Lewisville were truly phenomenal. This was our first experience as parents, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to support us during such a special and emotional time. I would like to begin by expressing our deepest gratitude to Dr. Dixit. She is one of the most caring and dedicated doctors we have ever met. From the very beginning of the pregnancy days through delivery, she was with us every step of the way, always going above and beyond. The fact that she came in around midnight to deliver our baby speaks volumes about her commitment and compassion. She is truly an exceptional physician, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding OB-GYN. Our delivery experience was equally remarkable. As first-time parents, we were naturally very nervous, especially since our baby arrived a few weeks early. However, the nurses made us feel completely at ease, like we were surrounded by family. A special thank you to Clara, who took wonderful care of my wife on the day we were admitted. Her kindness meant so much to us, and we regret not being able to thank her properly before she left(we were sleeping) On the night of delivery, another incredible nurse Claire (apologies if the name is slightly off she also recently gave birth to baby girl but was very strong) worked alongside Dr. Dixit and went above and beyond to support us through the process. After moving to the post delivery room, we were warmly cared for by Alexis, who ensured both my wife and our baby were comfortable and well taken care of. We also want to recognize Arlene (or Aelene, apologies if incorrect), who was incredibly supportive, especially when we were struggling with pumping breastmilk. As new parents, we were unsure what to do, but she patiently guided us step by step and gave us the confidence we needed. Our baby required time in the NICU due to low blood sugar, which was understandably a stressful experience for us. While there was a delay in communication initially, which made us anxious, we truly appreciated the staff’s efforts once they connected with us. Amanda, who cared for our baby in the NICU, provided great comfort with her attentive care. We are also very thankful to Parker, Jessica, Robin, Jordan, Haley, Hannah and many other nurses (apologies for any missed names) who treated our baby with such dedication and compassion. Oh I forgot to mention Cami, such a kind and nice person who took such a good care of our baby We would also like to recognize Shehanaz and Cathy, along with other team members who stepped in to help even when they were not directly assigned to us. The teamwork we witnessed was truly inspiring. A special mention as well to the kind staff member wearing an Easter bunny headband your positivity and helpfulness did not go unnoticed! Overall, the experience was exceptional, and we are deeply grateful to everyone involved. We highly recommend Medical City Lewisville to anyone beginning their parenthood journey. As a small suggestion for improvement, we noticed that on the first day in the post-delivery room, meals were served without confirming dietary preferences. For example, we do not consume beef and pork, but pork sausage was included in the meal. It would be helpful to check dietary restrictions beforehand. Additionally, on one occasion, a lunch order was significantly delayed without prior communication. Keeping patients informed in such situations would enhance the overall experience, especially for new mothers who need timely meals. Another suggestion is we found delivery room full of dust, however when requested they came and cleaned it for us. Probably rooms need to be inspected before admitting a patient would be great idea as well. Once again, thank you to the entire team for making this experience so memorable and comforting for our family.
I had the most AMAZING experience delivering my first baby here last week. The nursing staff is kind, compassionate, and genuine in every single thing that they do. Every nurse, doctor, and anesthesiologist was very transparent and thoroughly explained every procedure or test they were doing as they were doing it. Once my baby was born, the nursing staff cared for her and loved on her as if she was their own. You can genuinely tell that everyone here loves what they do, and the energy they carry presents itself in the quality of work. Incredible team! Me and baby Ábrielle wish everyone the best!
I loved this hospital for the care they were giving my grandmother when she got sick, especially after multiple bad experiences at the Denton location.. the staff was always kind, understanding and super attentive. However, we had ONE exceptionally bad experience that prevented us from continuing to take my grandmother when I believe she truly needed the help. One single, terrible experience involving charge nurse Annie and nurse Erin (I believe that to be the correct spelling). We were made to feel that it was not ok to continue taking her there because "we can't really do anything because nothing is wrong with her, if that makes sense". We had appointments set up for her with a cardiologist and her regular doctor as well but when she was having problems in between or before we could get to those visits we were finding ourselves calling for an ambulance more often than we'd like. After the incident with these two nurses, we were completely uncomfortable and hesitant to take my grandmother to the er. Her health RAPIDLY declined shortly after that visit and by the time we knew something was 100% wrong how we originally felt to be true, it was too late.. my grandmother was put on hospice at our home about a week after having to go back in and she passed away not even 24 hours later.. every single other experience here has been amazing. The staff outside of these two nurses have been amazing. The care outside of that one visit has been amazing. But their actions and words made a world of difference to people who felt completely helpless. People who needed someone who could do more for their loved one than they could at that point. They were cold, heartless, and had zero compassion or empathy towards us, our situation or what we were going through. We felt threatened, uncomfortable, unimportant. We were made to feel as though my grandmother was a burden. People like them do not belong in a setting like this. I called and called for at least a week after the incident to report it. I finally got a hold of someone, who, was yet another person who was pleasant to deal with but do not know the outcome of that call. I really hope this behavior gets corrected and stays corrected because it was completely inappropriate and unethical. I'm not entirely sure how much longer my grandmother would have had with us had we been comfortable taking her when we felt it was better safe than sorry but we will never know.. ONE bad experience..
