Medlink Colbert

The number of reminders to check in ahead of the appointment was a bit annoying, but I am sure someone does need that many reminders. The visit itself was very nice! Everyone was patient and calm in doing their tasks. The doctor understood the reason for my visit, got down to business and was accommodating to my needs. Five stars all around!

This location is great! Reception gets you checked in quickly & the lab is very good. I personally see “Evan Grovenstein”; for my primary care here @ Colbert & he is very thorough, during my visits. I wouldn’t go anywhere else; & I definitely recommend this Medlink location and definitely recommend Evan Grovenstein!

If I could leave zero stars, I would! I have had many issues in the past with this medlink before. But I always tried to forgive and give more chances. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But today's experience was just awful! My child started having issues with her ears. Her pediatrician is hard to get ahold of, as their office is usually booked weeks out in advanced. I wanted her to be seen in case she had another ear infection. I get there, spent over a hour waiting, and when little miss Montgomery comes in, and asks who WAS her former dr, I tell her she still has a pediatrician, and I instantly get turned away. She tells me in that case, she WON'T see my child. That unless my child is her full time patient, then she refuses to look at her. Because in her own words, "I could look at her, but then you'll just take her back to her pediatrician later, and I can't do that. I'm not some urgent care. But there is one down the road".. At no point, from when I called and made the appointment the day before, or the hour i wasted waiting, did anyone bother to tell me that was a thing. And I specifically explained MANY times from the call, to when I got there, and even to the nurse who saw us before the dr came in, that she HAS a current Dr., but he couldn't be reached. And again, no one said a word. They still made the appt, they checked me in, made me fill all the paperwork, and nothing was said. The way she said it and approached it was very rude, and seemed as she truly did not care for my kids well being. Saying she had real patients to attend too. I did not appreciate it. As a DOCTOR, she took an oath to help sick kids. Yet she so very quickly turned my child away without looking at her, all cause she learned my child wasn't gonna be her full patient. Never again will I make the mistake of bringing my child here.

I see Jason & I can’t say enough good things about him - but I wanted to leave my review not on him, but this location! I have been seeing him in Bowman previously but saw him at the Colbert location this last time…. I will never step foot back in the Bowman location after this visit. From the minute I walked through the door, I was greeted by the most pleasant staff I’ve probably ever encountered at a doctor’s office! The ladies were just so kind and friendly, not to mention the waiting room and bathroom were very clean & well maintained. The ladies at the Bowman location are always so sour faced and not helpful; I had almost considered finding a new provider but wanted to stick it out because I like Jason so much. I’m super glad I did, from the waiting room, to the work up, to even getting my blood drawn, I had the most wonderful experience and I honestly look forward to my next visit. Dr.voorhes was awesome and I actually felt heard and understood. She seemed to actually listen to my concerns about my children. All of the staff were friendly accommodating and patient..
