They clearly have some issues as of late and that is truly disappointing. Luckily I am moving out of the area and will be shopping with another Meijer. I usually choose to shop online and pick up for the convenience for my family. The last few times have been horrible experiences and I am so disappointed! The quality of the meats were terrible, completely rotten, discolored and smelled horrid. And because we are selling our home (showings these past few weekends), I couldn't just leave them in the fridge and I couldn't just run back down I had to just throw the meats away and move my trash cans hoping the potential buyers wouldn't notice the smells, even double bagged. This weekend we ordered, I picked up and I didn't receive some of the items. I will not be buying from this location again. I will go outside my area or go to Kroger. This truly is a shame. And yes I could fight but anxiety is high and I just can't.

For the past year I have been treated like a criminal every time I walk into this Meijer simply because I utilize the double decker carts, the water refill station, and the self-checkout. If you're going to be that concerned about people having items on the bottom section of their double decker cart, maybe don't let people use them. If I put in my water refill into the computer, I shouldn't have to have an employee come over and question whether or not I did, and I certainly should not have to deal with employees hollering at me about it as I'm walking out the store, I'm literally doing what you've asked me I shouldn't have to be treated like a criminal. Oh and I added a photo to show you they're running scams
Meijer's is my go-to place once Krogers is closed, and both are nearby. I like that I can get things there that aren't available at Krogers though. However, someone at Meijer's needs to make changes with their milk supplier. The milk they sell is terrible, almost always going bad several days before the expiration date. As someone who drinks a gallon every two days, I get it used before if can go bad. But every time I slow down on consumption, their milk will start smelling bad a week or so before exp. date, which sucks if you still have half a gallon. This never happens with milk I get from Kroger.
They have the worst absolute pharmacy of any pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my life. For three days, they kept telling me they did not have my medication when they indeed dead the whole time. My doctor had a date stamp when it was sent to them. It takes them over 24 hours to fill a script up. And most of the time they will be out of the medication so you even have to wait more days in order to get your medicine. If I could rate them lower, I would.
Meijer's is always a well-organized clean store. I check my receipts & they are consistently spot on with charges. Our local community fund raisers have been helped by their kindness. A great business formula we need more of !
