TLDR - Definitely come here for the eye doctors, but be wary of the eyeglass buying experience (make sure you seek out Monika or Denise for a pleasant experience).
My experience with Dr Hollander was nothing short of exceptional. He listened to and addressed all my concerns, and even educated me on my concerns. I am definitely making all future appointments with Dr Hollander.
My issue comes with my eyeglass purchase experience. I was assisted by Manager Joon. He made no effort for small talk, didn’t offer me lens options, just flat out told me what my total would for replacement lens for my current frames. I brushed this experience off as “maybe he was having a bad day” and “maybe this just how they operate here.” I paid and went about my day.
Fast forward to when I pick up my glasses. I witness the level of care and attention that Monika and Denise were giving to their customers. It was a whole different world compared to the care I was given when purchasing my glasses. Both Denise and Monika were explaining every aspect of the purchase process to the customers sitting in the chair. At that point I was jealous and disappointed that my experience, especially as a first time patient and customer, was nowhere near decent as these customers were having.
To add to the disappointment, I overheard Denise talking to her client about how to maxizime her insurance benefits. Had someone taken the time to explain how to maximize the use of my benefits, I definitely would have walked spending more than I did during my initial visit.
