Spent $450 on Ray ban no line, bifocals. Had to bring them back because the strength was way off. After “correcting”, still off. He said it takes time to adjust, “at least 2 weeks” he said. A month of headaches, threw them in the trash. He’s more proud of his Viking heritage, and telling his story of how he’s a Viking instead of paying attention to detail to his customers needs. P.S. I paid for anti glare. Nope. Never see me again.

I have been going there for years! Myself and my children. Really enjoy talking with Dr. Pittman during the exam! Super nice guy!! And most of the time, I have never had an issue until the last month. I work for a private company and respect private ownership! My son No showed his last appointment. He was working out of town and carelessly forgot to call and cancel his appointment in a timely fashion. I call about three weeks and was told that he was not allowed to reschedule because he no showed his last appointment. Now this has been the only time he has ever canceled or no showed his appointment. I offered to pay a no-show fee and she declined so I scheduled him somewhere else. And then I called the office and placed an order for my contacts and they drafted out of my HSA card on May 9. I called the following week to check on the status of my contacts and they have not arrived yet. I called the week after that and my contacts still have not arrived. I was told that they had to fax the order over but apparently the distribution center did not receive the fax but they refaxed it verbally spoke to someone and they should be in today the 31st , I called today and my order still has not arrived. I got a callback from the office asking me if I was out of my samples and I told them I was running low. The lady said you’re almost out of your samples we just gave you some? I told her I am not looking for samples. I just want the order that I placed back on the ninth!! She insured me that I will have them next week hopefully by Tuesday. This really does make me sad because I really enjoyed going there, but they have left me no other option to find someone else now! After I get my order.
I am fed up with medical professionals who think their time is more valuable than mine. I called this place months ago. I asked for the next first appointment of the day. I was given a date that was more than a month out but took it because I do not have time to sit for hours waiting to see a doctor. For over a week I received a text EVERY DAY from Mexia Vision Source reminding me of my appointment time so that I would be on time. I was on time. I showed up exactly when I was instructed 30 minutes later after several people had been called back before me (please explain how anyone can be ahead of me if I have the first appointment of the day) When I expressed my frustration, the receptionist informed me that they were short a technician (still doesn't explain why I did not have the first appointment). By not informing me of that fact when I arrived and giving me an opportunity to decide if I had the time to wait or should reschedule, they, again, demonstrate a lack of respect for my time. Then I said, I want the next first appointment and she said the first appointment of the day is 8:15 but the Dr. won't be here until 8:30 and won't be able to see you until 8:45. ??? So, this office's practice is to arbitrarily disregard a minimum of 30 minutes of their patients' time. That is not OK. I will go somewhere else.
Wouldnt help fix my glasses because i didnt order them through them all they needed was a screw tightned i had other vision centers do it for free regardless where i got the glasses from. The pricing is outrageous i currently dont have insurance and it was going to cost 150 for exam. Most vision places i have visited are less than 100
Reception is not the friendliest and the doctor talks so much that twice now the prescription was wrong for me and my son.
