Was greeted and registered after a very short time m e. Sat for a few minutes before I was taken in for tests. Dr Mercer was short and efficient. Did a thorough examination of her own and answered any questions I had.
I had what I thought might be a Retinal tear, and read that it was serious and should be handled as an emergency, so I called the ER and spoke to a triage nurse who got me in touch with the on call doctor at Midwest Family Eye Care and she wanted to see me, even though it was a Sunday. I was so relieved. I did have a small tear and was they were able to laser it that day. Both Dr. Mercer and Dr. O'Brian were so professional and gracious about being called out on a Sunday. I can not thank them enough for taking so good care of me.
Everything was handled well from beginning to end. Wait time was short. Dr. Appenzeller answered all questions and was thorough. Thankful I could get in at short notice. I would recommend both Midwest Eyecare as well as Dr. Appenzeller!

His ability to instill confidence, while also expressing compassion has made me very confident that I am at the right place. The office personnel is also exceptional: professional, polite and efficient. I’m quite pleased that my primary ophthalmologist referred me here.
I rarely do 5 ☆'s, not there was anything at all wrong. Everyone was pleasant enough, professional and efficient. Dr. Green, although very young, is confident and appeared thorough and knowledgeable.
