The receptionists seem to be a little spacey. She looked right at me and didn't even acknowledge me. She was just walking around the receptions area. She finally nonchalantly walked over and then ask me if she could help me. She was extremly slow. Everybody else were wonderful. The Dr was great. I will come back. Thank You

Everyone in the office is very nice and professional. You can tell that they truly care about thier patients. My daughter and I both love going there and are so happy that we found them.
I was doing some volunteer work outdoors when suddenly it felt like a pin had been stuck in my right eye. My eye was constantly tearing and the pain level was 8 on a scale of 1-10. I called Midwest to see what time they closed. I drove there as quickly as I could and got there 15 minutes prior to closing. Even though they were still open, all the doctors had headed home. They were able to contact Dr. Brown who was only a few minutes away. He returned and treated me. He found a foreign object in my eye, removed it, relieved the pain, prescribed eye drops and sent me home. The pain subsided immediately and the eye drops have prevented infection. This is the definition taking care of a patient with an immediate need. A huge thank you to Dr. Brown and the staff at Midwest Eye Consultants.
Dr. Brown was great with both of my kids, which makes this review especially disappointing to write. Unfortunately I've had the same issue happen twice in one year. Earlier this year, my child's glasses were significantly delayed because I was told the prescription had not been received by the factory. Recently, the exact same thing happened with my other child's glasses. After waiting three weeks without any updates, I contacted the offce and was again told that the prescription had somehow not been received by the factory. What concerns me most is that there was no proactive communication and the issue was not even discovered until I called. Children who need glasses shouldn't have to wait weeks longer because an order was not properly processed or tracked. If I hadn't followed up, I'm not sure how much longer we would have waited. I hope Midwest Eye Consultants takes steps to improve its follow-up procedures so other families don't experience the same frustration.
Thankful for a very quick apt for a troubling eye situation. Dr Brown checked out my eye to confirm my new case of shingles has not affected my eyesight. Very scarey situation handled and verified quickly. Very satisfied with the quick response!!!
