My husband & I just had our first appointments here today and we were blown away by how positive our experience was. The staff were extremely helpful in navigating insurance better than I was able to on our insurer's website and upfront about what our costs and coverage would be. Dr. Schechter himself is incredibly kind and gives his full attention to the exam, listening to and identifying causes for concern. We were very impressed and intent to continue using this office.

Dr. Schecter is extremely kind and professional. He is very good at what he does, with lots of knowledge and a tasteful eye for frames. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an eye exam!

My family and I recently visited as new patients. Dr. Schecter himself was warm and welcoming. Our sessions were very thorough and informative. It really felt like the extra mile was taken for our exams in comparison to other chain vision centers that I have been visiting over the years. Each of us had a great experience. His assistant was so kind and helpful while we chose our frames - one of being a picky 10yo ;). We feel like we have found a permanent practice that we can return to.

I recently visited Mill Run Vision Center and Dr. Schecter for my first appointment. The location is easy to find within a strip center with plenty of parking. The office itself is clean, orderly and modern. I arrived minutes before my appointment start time and didn't have to wait around, which I like. Front desk staff was friendly and Dr. Schecter explained each step of my appointment ensuring I understood what was happening, which I appreciate. When it came time to order my glasses the selection was varied with multiple price points, and they helped me find the optimal pair for the shape of my face. I never felt rushed and each step was perfectly orchestrated and yet individualized.

Dr Schecter has been our family's optometrist for almost a decade. His office staff are wonderful and helpful in all aspects of the visit. He is excellent with kids and adults and has been understanding when I have a situation come up or need frames adjusted. A great doctor and friendly conversationalist. I highly recommend this office!
