My son went with his Oma today to have his eyes checked and get contacts for the very first time, and I just wanted to take a moment to share how phenomenal the experience was. Everyone was so patient, kind, caring, and thorough with him. They took the time to make sure he understood what they were doing and, more importantly, why wearing his corrective lenses and taking care of his eyes is so important. As a pre-teen getting contacts for the first time, I really appreciated how educational and encouraging the entire experience was. They treated him with respect, answered all of his questions, and made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel exciting and completely manageable. I’m so grateful he had such a positive first experience. It means so much to know he was in such caring hands!

I started coming here a few years ago, after I went to “chain” optometrist in town for a while but felt concerned that I never saw the same doctor twice — it was someone new every year. I wanted continuity of care, as I have a complicated history of severe nearsightedness and corrective surgery. Everyone at MFE is wonderful, and I love that I see the same faces year after year, not just with my eye doc but also the support staff. That says something about how this business cares for all its team members. Nathan is wonderful, kind and caring. Dr. Knuth is as well. I’d definitely recommend this optometry practice to anyone wanting to feel like they matter, while getting excellent and competent care.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at my eye exam with Dr. Knuth and her technician, Nathan. From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming, professional, and organized. The entire process was smooth and efficient, but what really stood out was how genuinely kind and attentive they both were. Dr. Knuth was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without rushing, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed about my eye health. You can truly tell she cares about her patients and takes pride in providing excellent care. Nathan was just as wonderful — friendly, patient, and professional throughout all the pre-testing. He made the experience feel relaxed and easy, and his positive attitude really set the tone for the visit. Overall, this was one of the best eye exam experiences I’ve ever had. The care, professionalism, and kindness from both Dr. Knuth and Nathan made it exceptional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for thorough, compassionate eye care!

Dr. Michaels saw me on a moments notice as I had a contact lens issue develop quickly. He establishes great rapport quickly, addressed my concerns professionally, and solves the vision issues readily. Top quality care from all the doctors and staff at Millard Family Eyecare.
