I feel that I was scammed, and now they have put me in collections. When I came in with my daughter for an eye exam for myself and a contact fitting for her, I told them that my daughter did have a full eye exam with another provider a few months prior and they said "we will send it to your insurance and see what happens". They never once said that I may be responsible for the bill, because if they had, I would not have had the services. I paid $150.00 out of pocket for my daughter's contact fitting. As far as our exams were concerned, they were no more than 5-10 minutes each and the assistant actually took my dollar store cheaters to examine, which confused me, but this was my first exam ever. So all in all, they were paid over $320 for the low quality services that we received, and have refused to give us my daughter's script for her contacts, until they receive their money. I also called my health insurance, and they said that yes, being a participating provider, they should know that only one eye exam per year is covered. They also have now billed us more than what the insurance would have paid in the first place! When I called Millennium's billing dept., they did not care what I had to say. I wish we never went there!

I didn't have a great experience in this place. It was my first time in this location since I have moved recently to the area. I did my research about this practice and being that it had good reviews I have decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in the service I have received. The doctor was running about an hour late. I decided to wait because I took a day off from work so I can see the main doctor there that specializes in the corneal problems. Finally, when I got to see the doctor I felt being rushed through my exam. Even though I have stated my concerns I wasn't given a full exam with dilation. I was expecting a detailed examine first time. Instead, the doctor told me to come back again for another exam. I believe that the doctor was in rush to leave since I end up being his last patient that day.
My husband and I have been using this group of eye doctors for more than 35 years. We always went to the Freehold office. We saw Dr. Siegel years ago, then Dr. Aksman, Dr. Brenner. I also saw the female, Chinese doctor whose name I forgot. She specializes in retinal diseases. She was excellent, if somewhat brusque.
Tried to make an appointment foie the jackson location and all calls are through a call center in Lakewood. Pam was very nasty and hung up on me. Avoid this place find somewhere with more personal service.
This place is sooo funny I needed glasses asap my glasses broke and needed glasses(for that night) and didn’t have a car to drive to another store,I didn’t care about the price I needed glasses so I looked through the glasses and they are all ugly and way over priced but I was desperate to get glasses so I didn’t care but I couldn’t get the glasses because it would take a week to be ready,so I asked about the contact lenses they said I can have that today,I never wore contact lenses before so I had to check my prescription so they ended up charging me 100$(I think for the test and contact lenses) plus they sent me a bill for 210$(I think for looking that it fits something like that)(I have health insurance)my friend went the following week to Walmart and spent a total of 30$ for the exam and contact lenses, the prices are way way over the roof and the Quality of their items are very low and their customer service is even worse I don’t know how they are still in business
