Miller Eye Center

They only reason I’m giving them 2 stars is because the Doctor despite everything else was good, but the reception staff are incredibly rude, when confirming a appointment over the phone I asked if we had a balance due from a previous appointment, prior to the new appointment and was told no, get there for a 8:15am appointment, and while checking in was told there WAS a balance due and that we couldn’t be seen until we paid 30% of it. Not to even mention we waited 4 months for a pair of glasses!! And they were made incorrectly this first time!! So we had to wait another 4 more weeks to get them remade!! And the lady at the counter for the glasses was dismissive and didn’t care that we were upset about it!! I will not be recommending Miller Eye Center to anyone and will actively tell people to not go there.

Took me 6 months yo have Cataract surgery. Horrible Business. Will take every dime. If ur on Medicaid ur in and out. The better the insurance the longer u will see Dr. Miller. All about the money. I had an appointment at 4 pm one day, i waited and waited, which I'm use to there. They started locking up and closing. A Lady asked me if I was waiting for someone? I said: I had appointment at 4. Oh. Well we r closing. U will have to reschedule. Ur a sucker if u go here. I finally walked out.. Enough

I am giving this practice no stars. My appointment was a complete waste of time. They wanted me to come back for two separate appointments instead of trying to address all issues in one. I went to another eye doctor and had a much better experience and was able to get everything taken care of in just one appointment. Further, Miller Eye Center wrote me the wrong prescription for glasses. When I came to pick up the glasses, they were not right. I want to give a huge thank you to the only person in this practice that made things right. Her name is Neq and she works in the optical center. She deserves a 5 star rating. She redid my eye test and reordered my lenses. She was really helpful, and I appreciated all she did to make things right.

I find their patient follow-up to be non-existent. N have tried several times to sked an appointment by phone. “We’ll get back to you next business day.” Still waiting. Once you have an appointment, they seem to do good work. I have only done annual checkups; no major operations.

I am sitting in the room waiting as I write this. Appointment was at 8 am. They open at 8am. Waited 20 minutes to be taken back. Was told there was someone in front of me. How can that be? I have been in the room waiting for over 20 minutes for the Dr which by the way is a new Dr…..wasn’t told that. Have no idea when I will get out of here! Some follow up appointment. Never again!! Ready to walk!
