Dr Reed and his staff were absolute gems. They saw my 7 year old son who ended up having a bad viral issue with his right eye. He was sensitive to light and in pain, so they referred him to the specialist and got him an appt that same afternoon! Dr Reed was playing with my 2 year old while still being professional and gentle with my 7 year old. He cares about his patients and they go above and beyond for you right when you need them to. Our pediatrician and urgent care gave him random eye drops and pushed us out the door. Spectacle actually treated the issue and we are forever grateful!

I've never been to a medical facility of any sort that treats you the way these lady's do. They speak to you so you can understand and don't have to always say what's that mean. Front desk lady's were very polite and helpful. The doctor has the perfect personality to deal with people. My boys loved going there!!!

I had an awesome time at spectacle. I had the pleasure of spending time with Dr Perry, Leah, Tabby, Vanessa, and Isaac. I could not have found a better group of people Each individual did something special for me, Thank you so much for making my eye exam special.❤️

Where to start…vision and dental reviews should be separate bc one is great and one is run terribly! been bringing my kids here for years and they have gotten so bad I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Last year I came as a cash patient to get a bridge and they also charged me for a root canal that I found out from my new dentist they didn’t even do! Just hid it under my bridge. When I called about it the girl I spoke w said that they have NO FILE of it AT ALL! They only do cleanings to collect Medicaid $$. They will put anything that your kids need done other than that off for months or until you take them somewhere else. My daughter was put off 3x’s for a simple filling. The staff is so rude which you will learn as soon as you call for an appointment. I only brought my kids today bc they had a cleaning already scheduled but we walked in at 12:34 and the old lady at the desk didn’t walk back and acknowledge us until 12:37 then told me we’d have to reschedule bc the dentist goes to lunch at 12:30 and we were late and there was no grace period (we’ve gone here for years so I knew she was a liar) but then another girl walked up and said the grace period was 5 min and it’s been 7 min but since it was the old lady’s fault for not being at her desk until 12:37 that we can come back at 2 after everyone takes a lunch. If they had just said we are sorry someone scheduled you at lunch time I would’ve been fine but they tried so hard to make it about the 4 min we were late that it was just the last straw for me. Anyway, I’m going to Grand Bay Dental Spa and my kids are going to Seagrass Smiles Pediatric Dentist and they are both so much better, nicer, more professional that idk why I stayed with Mobile Bay for so long. At one time it was a great place but I’d tell anyone to go anywhere else first. It’s bottom of the barrel now. And the old lady at the front desk hates her job, maybe her life, and it shows. Dr. Perry is very thorough, explains everything she says, and all pricing is disclosed when you make your appointment. Great service! I've never even sat in any kind of waiting area.
