Switching dental offices mainly because of our repeated experiences with one of the women working at the front desk. Her attitude has been consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and this hasn’t been a one-time occurrence. Multiple members of my family have had unpleasant interactions with her and have felt dissmissed and disrespected with the way they were spoken to and treated.

This place is terrible, from the dentists to staff. They just keep wasting your money and lying and unprofessional, not only that—but awfully rude with no remorse or empathy. All locations are just as bad. I do not recommend this place to any adult especially kids. The cover may look good but its ugly from the inside. Im glad i found a better place, get your crap together.

I received a text from my son’s dentist office saying his appointment would be canceled within 48 hours if I didn’t respond . This is the FIRST time I’ve ever gotten a message like that !! Usually they just send reminders or call to confirm , and I never answer or reply I’ve always just shown up to appointments without any issues . So I called to make a complaint because the message felt a little aggressive & out of nowhere . I even asked for a manager’s email and sent a screenshot so they could see exactly what I received . Tell me why the response back was basically telling me and my son should go to a different dentist ??? Like… what ??? That response was completely unprofessional and honestly just disrespectful . I wasn’t being rude , I wasn’t causing problems ? I simply brought up a concern about how they communicated with me . The crazy part is my son actually loves going there , especially the playground I mean he’s been going his whole 7 years of life , which makes this even more frustrating . But if this is how patients are going to be treated for speaking up , then that’s a huge problem . And not to mention I had two staff members yelled at the children on the playground to shut up and that they were being too loud.. and once the parents brought the kids back, they were talking, very disgusting and ugly about the parents and the children.. I even had to address this matter with a staff member while I was there this day . And just a heads up if they ever send you across the bay to get your children’s teeth done do not do it!! They sent my son over there and the Dentist over there chapped some of my child’s teeth without my permission . At this point , I’m GLAD we will not continue going there at all .

Well I made the appointment for Dr. Gast specifically. Get there, they put me in a room. Then after a while a different dentist comes in to replace my crown. Tells me I need a root canal on a tooth that has already had a root canal in the past, and a crown. So I ask for antibiotics for the so called infection. Mean while this Dr, replaces the crown, but don't align it with the rest of my teeth,so of course I ask them to fix it before I leave. The hygienist comes back in after about 10 minutes and let's me know that is all the Dr is going to be able to do for me today. For me to schedule the sx, and he would see me then. Now I cant bite down on the front of my mouth. And I cant get an appointment until sometime in June or later. I see this place has gone down hill bad. Will be looking for another dentist to fix their screw up.

I took off work and brought my two children to their scheduled appointment at Mobile Bay Dental in Semmes for their 6 month cleaning only to be told they cancelled our appointments. They stated it’s their practice to cancel appointments if you don’t call them and tell them you’re coming. We received one phone call two days prior notifying us of their cancellation policy- but not a word about how they’re cancellation policy ACTUALLY means they’ll cancel OUR appointment when they’re overbooked. An internet search will show the downtown location to also have complaints. THEY HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR PATIENT’S, PATIENT CARE. Take your children somewhere else.
