I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Manavi. What immediately stood out to me was her incredibly gentle, caring bedside manner. She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit and took the time to listen thoughtfully to my concerns. What impressed me even more was the depth of her experience. Every question she asked felt intentional and purposeful, and it was clear she was quickly focusing on the most important information rather than simply going through a routine checklist. Her explanations were clear, concise, and easy to understand, which gave me a great deal of confidence in her assessment. It’s rare to find someone who combines genuine warmth and compassion with such a high level of clinical expertise. I left feeling both well cared for and assured that I was in exceptionally capable hands. I would highly recommend Dr. Manavi to anyone looking for an optometrist who is knowledgeable, attentive, and kind.

We arrived in LA and I discovered I had left my glasses at home. I have a complex varifocal prescription so I can’t just buy glasses off the shelf. I needed something urgently for distance vision as we were only in Santa Monica for 2 days before going to Fiji. I researched opticians via AI then called Montana Optometry and explained my situation. They were happy to help so I jumped in an Uber and went down to see them so they could take measurements and I could choose frames. I took some spare contact lenses with me as I didn’t have my prescription with me. I ask if they could do single vision glasses at -7. They looked at my contacts and said that I needed ‘seven and change’ and asked me to contact my opticians in the UK for my prescription. Because of the time difference this was possible, and Montana Optometry said they could make me the glasses the next day. I got the prescription and emailed it over to them so they would have it by the time they opened. We then went out for the day. As promised Montana Optometry couriered the new glasses direct to our hotel and we were given them by the concierge. I can’t believe they made the glasses and got them to me in less than 24 hours. I was absolutely thrilled and amazed. This could never have happened in the UK. They literally saved my holiday! Thanks so much to Stephanie and David, you are true legends!

I have been using Montana Optometry for years, as has my entire family. We find them to be professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They stock a great array of frames, including some really funky and hard-to-find designs from Europe, with a wide range of prices. Customer service is great. Honestly, there is a reason this place is a legend in Santa Monica. I want to make clear that I am a real customer with no connection with the place - they really do deserve this amazing review! It's hard to find this level of service.

An excellent experience. I felt completely safe and in very competent hands throughout the whole process. The service was fast and efficient - I even received my glasses sooner than expected. The staff were wonderfully open, extremely friendly, and genuinely helpful in finding the right frame. Overall, a smooth, professional, and very pleasant experience - highly recommended!

The Dr. that did my eye exam was very nice. It was easy and quick. Sometimes I do wonder though their level of expertise. My main gripe was with the guy that helped me cash out and was supposed to be helpful in answering some of my questions. I think his name is Steven. He was rude, short and dimissive, even told me if I wanted something cheap I should just go to cvs, and it was not in a nice tone, extremely condescending. I would have spent another $150 there on a pair of "fancy" overpriced readers but he pretty much pushed me out the door. I don't think I'll be going back here anymore
